'Westworld' Stars Come Up With Their Own Fan Theories, Says Evan Rachel Wood

This is a serious "stars -- they're just like us!" moment: The cast of "Westworld" comes up with fan theories for their own show.

Evan Rachel Wood, who plays Dolores on the HBO series, revealed to the Los Angeles Times that she and her co-stars were so into the plot while they were shooting that they had a group text chain where they shared their predictions.

"The running joke on set was that everyone thought they were Anthony Hopkins," she told the Times.

Starring in the show didn't necessarily make them accurate, though. Wood freely admits that her success rate was not good.

"I think I had about 100 theories and four were right," she said.

She did, however, guess one major twist early on. Starting with the second episode, Wood developed a strong suspicion that she knew who the Man in Black was. When the theory occurred to her, she thought it would be "messed up" and "so heartbreaking" -- which was how she knew she was right.

While the actress doesn't know yet what will happen in Season 2 yet, she has ideas of what she'd like to see for her character.

"My hope absolutely is that she just takes over," Wood said. "I don't know if I just want bloody revenge. I also want her to be just messing with people's minds."

This might be one of the occasions when she's right. We're in for a long wait, but we'll see when "Westworld" Season 2 premieres in 2018.

Amanda Seyfried Is Officially Coming Back for the 'Mamma Mia!' Sequel

More details about the "Mamma Mia!" sequel are being unveiled.

News came in May that "Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again" was officially on, but it wasn't clear specifically which of the original cast members were slated to return for more ABBA-fueled fun. Now, we know that Amanda Seyfried is onboard, thanks to a Deadline report. She'll reprise her role as Sophie, the young woman who invited her mother's three former lovers to her wedding to find out which was her biological father.

The last we saw Sophie in the 2008 musical, she and her mom, Donna (Meryl Streep), had made up after a fight, and Sophie was happily enjoying having three dads. She also postponed her wedding to her fiancé, Sky (Dominic Cooper), in favor of traveling the world together. We'll see if they're still a couple in the sequel -- Seyfried and Cooper are real-life exes now.

It'll be interesting to learn where the characters' lives have gone in the almost 10 years since we last saw them. We can't wait for more adventures and a soundtrack of catchy ABBA tunes.

"Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again" is slated for a July 20, 2018 release.

Dan Stevens on 'Beauty and the Beast' Motion Capture: 'It's an Ordeal for My Calf Muscles Alone'

Thanks to the magic of film, we didn't see the work that went into transforming Dan Stevens into his horned "Beauty and the Beast" character ... until now.

With the film's Blu-ray and DVD release on June 6, Disney released a new featurette via USA Today that shows how complicated it was to turn Stevens into the Beast. It required the actor to wear a massive (not to mention absurd-looking) motion capture suit that was apparently not comfortable at all.

"It's an ordeal for my calf muscles alone, let alone, you know, just the whole body," Stevens says in the featurette.

Unfortunately, his co-star Emma Watson isn't in the video to share how she kept a straight face while he was wearing it. We give her all kinds of credit for not giving moviegoers a single sign that her onscreen love interest was sporting an outfit that includes what look like moon shoes. Just for that, she has earned every bit of praise she has received for playing Belle.

The suit wasn't the only challenge for Stevens, though. As director Bill Condon explains in the featurette, they didn't want to use a ton of cameras while shooting scenes with his co-stars, which meant Stevens had to later recreate his performance alone so they could capture his facial expressions. That was for all of his scenes -- "whether they have lines in or not," according to Stevens.

This extra effort was necessary, though.

"I always said we could get everything else in this movie right, but if we didn't get a Beast that people believed in, then it wouldn't work," Condon said.

Based on the film's reception, we'd say it did work. And, hey, it couldn't have been too bad: Stevens has said he'd play the Beast again.

Julia Roberts's First TV Series Is Headed to HBO

HBO couldn't pass up the first-ever TV series starring Julia Roberts.

The premium network has landed "Today Will Be Different," an adaptation of writer Maria Semple's novel of the same name. Set over the course of a day, the story follows Roberts's character, Eleanor Flood, as she attempts to be her best self, only to have life get in the way. Semple is adapting the series herself, having previously worked on shows such as "Arrested Development," "Suddenly Susan," "Beverly Hills, 90210," and more.

The role will be a new challenge for Roberts, whose decades of acting success have come almost exclusively through film roles. Although she has guest starred in TV series in the past, this is her first time starring in one. She'll also executive produce the series, via Red Om Films, along with Semple, and Annapurna Television's Megan Ellison and Sue Naegle.

"Today Will Be Different" is intended to be a limited series, but if it goes well, maybe it will inspire Roberts to snatch up more TV roles in the future.

Netflix Cancels 'Sense8' & Fans Are 'Heartbroken' at Lack of Closure

Netflix posted a video to thank Sensates for following "Sense8" for two seasons. But two is all you will get, unresolved storylines be damned.

Netflix has officially canceled the sci-fi drama from Lana and Lily Wachowski. Vice President of Original Content Cindy Holland offered this statement (via TVLine):

"After 23 episodes, 16 cities and 13 countries, the story of the Sense8 cluster is coming to an end. It is everything we and the fans dreamed it would be: bold, emotional, stunning, kick ass and outright unforgettable. Never has there been a more truly global show with an equally diverse and international cast and crew, which is only mirrored by the connected community of deeply passionate fans all around the world. We thank Lana, Lily, Joe and Grant for their vision, and the entire cast and crew for their craftsmanship and commitment."

Fans are always upset when their favorite shows are canceled, but many "Sense8" fans were expecting at least one more season to wrap up storylines, since the Season 2 finale didn't feel like The End. But apparently the episodes that arrived May 5 really were The End.

'America's Got Talent' Preteen Ventriloquist Earns 135 Million Views in 2 Days

Let's hear it for Petunia, Darci!

If you watched the premiere of "America's Got Talent" Season 12, you must remember 12-year-old Darci Lynne Farmer and her "singing" bunny Petunia. The preteen ventriloquist wowed everyone, earning the golden buzzer from judge Mel B, sending her straight to the live shows.

Darci's audition video was posted to YouTube Tuesday night, May 30, and it already has more than 4.7 million views on that platform. Over on Facebook, the official video clip has more than 131 million views. It actually went over 100 million in just over 24 hours. So just between YouTube and Facebook, Darci's singing has been viewed more than 135 million times in the past 48 hours. Not bad!

Sometimes fans can be harsh, but so far her YouTube video has more than 77,000 thumbs up and only 1,600 thumbs down. Her Facebook post has about 1.9 million likes, and more than 3.3 million shares, with 170,000 comments.

This doesn't mean she'll win the season, since things are just getting started, but it does suggest this little lady's life has completely changed for the better in the course of just a couple of days. This is what happens when you find your gift, cherish it, and let it thrive!

The Most Anticipated Movies of June 2017

Welcome to New Release Rundown, where we run down the most anticipated movies hitting theaters in June 2017. And the winners are...

June 2nd sees "Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie" and the hotly anticipated -- and well reviewed -- "Wonder Woman" flying into theaters.

The following weekend bolsters up with Kate Mara war drama "Megan Leavey," the Sam Elliott drama "The Hero," and horror-thriller "Camera Obscura" all on limited release. And Tom Cruise Dark Universe kick-off movie "The Mummy" busts into the box office on June 9th

June 16th is chock full of new releases, with tearjerker "The Book of Henry," shark-infested Mandy Moore thriller "47 Meters Down," Disney-Pixar's speedy sequel "Cars 3," R-rated party-comedy "Rough Night," and the Tupac Shakur biopic "All Eyez on Me" all new in theaters.

The latest entry in the Transformers franchise, "Transformers: The Last Knight," gets a mid-week release on Wednesday, June 21st, while Sofia Coppola's period drama "The Beguiled," dystopian apocalypse flick "The Bad Batch," and romantic dramedy "The Big Sick" come to theaters June 23rd.

Action-thriller "Baby Driver" revs its engine with a midweek debut on June 28th, while minion-heady three-quel "Despicable Me 3" and the Amy Poehler / Will Ferrell comedy "The House" both hit theaters on Friday, June 30th.
