'The Walking Dead' Season 8 Director Reveals How Premiere Opens

Last year, Rick Grimes had to share main character status with Negan. Not anymore. "The Walking Dead" Season 8 will make it clear right away that The Ricktator is reclaiming the spotlight.

Greg Nicotero tends to direct TWD premieres and he helmed Season 8, Episode 1, which is also the show's 100th episode. Here's a little tease on that, from Nicotero to TV Guide:

"We start Episode 801 on a close-up of Rick Grimes, and we really get a sense that he's driving our story, not Negan."

Robert Kirkman already told EW the Season 8 premiere would tell us what the old Rick image of the trailer meant, so it's possible the entire season will open with that close-up shot and reveal more about it later. (Comic book fans already think they have an idea about Old Man Rick, but we'll see.)

Nicotero also told TV Guide the 100th episode will include some Easter Eggs to reward longtime fans:

"In multiple viewings you'll definitely pick up a few things that we put in there that harken back to earlier episodes."

Rewatch the big Comic-Con trailer and see if you can pick up some early clues: "The Walking Dead" Season 8 begins All Out War on Sunday, Oct. 22 at 9 p.m. on AMC.

'Game of Thrones' Fans Want Justice for Elia Martell After Season 7

Poor Elia Martell. Will no one ever avenge her?

The "Game of Thrones" Season 7 finale finally showed us the love story of "The Dragon and the Wolf," but not all fans are ready to see Jon Snow's biological father as a hero.

Amid the discussion of Jon's true name and claim, and his relationship with his aunt, were questions about Rhaegar (Wilf Scolding) throwing over his wife Elia Martell in favor of Lyanna Stark (Aisling Franciosi).

Gilly already revealed earlier in the season that Rhaegar had managed to annul his marriage to Elia and get remarried to Lyanna, even though Rhaegar and Lyanna had two children together. One of those kids, in the books anyway, was named Aegon Targaryen. That's the same name that was just revealed to be Jon's birth name, whispered from Lyanna to her brother Ned Stark on her deathbed.

So not only was Elia Martell ditched by her husband for a new wife, he also ditched his kids -- who were later murdered by The Mountain, while their mother was raped and murdered -- and replaced his son with another having the same name.

Way harsh, Tai.

Many fans refused to look past this, and honored Elia Martell in a way that would make Oberyn Martell proud, if he hadn't already died trying to avenge her.

Yes, poor Elia. Another casualty of plot convenience. "Game of Thrones" Season 8 will be the final season, and it seems unlikely that the final six episodes will bother to dig deep into the fact that the love story of Jon's parents came at the expense of not just Elia and her kids, but the many others who died in Robert's (Ned should've told him the truth about Lyanna loving Rhaegar) Rebellion.

Official 'Grey's Anatomy' Season 14 Poster Showcases the Four Originals

"Grey's Anatomy" fans who want Meredith Grey and Alex Karev together are going to like ABC's new poster.

Season 14 premieres September 28, and TVLine just debuted the 2017-2018 official poster, showing off Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), of course, but also Alex (Justin Chambers), Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson), and Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr.)

As TVLine noted, the fab four OGs have all been with "Grey's" since the series began in 2005. But they also noted how Alex is right in the middle of Mer's mind in the image. A hint? Just false hope? Just giving him second billing behind Mer, to suggest that he's basically the second main character now that Derek is gone?

Here's the new Season 14 poster:Yes, those are actual smiles on Alex's and Richard's faces, and even Bailey looks on the verge of being happy. Season 14 is meant to be something of a return to form for "Grey's" after a couple of gloomy seasons. This is meant to be a funnier, sexier season, with the premiere setting that tone right out of the gate. We can't wait!

(For comparison's sake, here are some past season posters, with most just focusing on Mer.)

Season 14 starts with a two-hour premiere on Thursday, Sept. 28 at 8 p.m. on ABC.

The Chinese 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' Posters Are Awesome & Adorable

George Clooney Praises Wife Amal's Parenting of Twins: 'She's Like an Olympic Athlete'

Dinner At Le Fouquet's - Cesar Film Awards 2017 In ParisNew dad George Clooney is still adjusting to fatherhood, but in a new interview, the actor says it's his wife, Amal Alamuddin Clooney, who's deserving of the praise when it comes to parenting their twins.

Speaking with the Associated Press, Clooney chatted about life with newborns Alexander and Ella, who were born on June 6. And while the actor joked about "clean[ing] the barf off of my tux" before he hits any red carpets, he also had some more contemplative comments about how parenthood changes a person.

"Suddenly, you're responsible for other people, which is terrifying," Clooney told the AP.

But when it comes to Alamuddin Clooney, the actor said that his human rights lawyer wife is more than capable of handling the challenge.

"She's like an Olympic athlete," Clooney said. "She's doing so beautifully."

Though Clooney is gearing up for the release of his latest directorial effort, "Suburbicon," he said his current focus is a bit more domestic.

"Right now my job is changing diapers and walking them around a little bit," the actor-director told the AP. "I really didn't think at 56 that I would be the parent of twins. Don't make plans. You always have to just enjoy the ride."

New 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' Photo Teases Rey's Training

Rey (Daisy Ridley) is set to take an even bigger step into the limelight in "Star Wars: The Last Jedi," with the protagonist of "The Force Awakens" now teaming with the reclusive Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) to learn more about her burgeoning Force powers. In a new photo from the upcoming flick, we see a contemplative Rey prepare for some serious (and solitary) Jedi training.

While we've already seen glimpses of the character in full Jedi mode (clad in a dark, voluminous robe and wielding a lightsaber), this picture -- which debuted on Yahoo! Movies -- takes a step back from that flashy, iconic imagery, instead focusing on Rey as she is now: A singular figure whose life of loneliness compels her to draw upon her own inner strength in order to survive.

Rey and Luke actually have quite a bit in common, with both living large portions of their lives alone (though Luke's isolation is by choice), and both of them a bit shocked by their initial discovery of their Force abilities. Though Rey is the one who needs something from Luke, we have a feeling that the older Jedi will also grow from their encounter.

While this image doesn't necessarily reveal much new, it does have an air of anticipation about it. Like Rey, we're also excited to see what's next.

"Star Wars: The Last Jedi" is due in theaters on December 15.
