'Orange Is the New Black' Renewed for Season 3 (Don't Tell Crazy Eyes)

Orange will be in for at least another season: Netflix has renewed "Orange Is the New Black" for Season 3.



Series star Laura Prepon -- who guest-starred in the first season, and is set to appear in only a handful of episodes in the soon-to-be-released season two -- announced the news on Instagram Monday, posting "It's official!! Season 3!!" alongside a snapshot of a list of episode titles. HitFix inquired with Netflix about the veracity of Prepon's post, and the streaming service responded, "This is how we're making it official."



Prepon also revealed she'll be back full-time for season three. No timeframe has been announced for those episodes' release, but considering season two has yet to hit Netflix, we'd imagine it won't be until sometime next year at the earliest.



The second season of "Orange is the New Black" premieres on Netflix on June 6.
