So what if he wasn't born in the U.S. ... and he's a fictional character on HBO's "Game of Thrones"? He's still better qualified than most of the options out there.Survey Monkey did the tough job of polling 2,045 Americans on various questions, including "How do the leaders of the Seven Kingdoms poll against this year's presidential candidates?"
The results (among the 397 who actually watch "Game of Thrones") show that Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) is tied with Bernie Sanders for the top choice for president. But unlike Bernie, Tyrion has support across the political spectrum, earning almost equal votes from people who identify as Liberal, Conservative, or Neither.
After from Bernie and Tyrion, respondents chose Hillary Clinton and Mother of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) as best options, before Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, John Kasich, and -- bottom of the list -- Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey).
If Jon Snow weren't dead at the moment, he might do quite well on this list, too. And Hodor. Should Hodor not be the next Secretary of State? Or maybe just put him on the Supreme Court.
