Sunday is the 35th anniversary of "Blade Runner," and to mark the occasion, here's a making-of featurette from sequel "Blade Runner 2049."
Entertainment Weekly shared the nearly four-minute video, which contains both behind-the-scenes footage and unseen clips from the movie, which is directed by Denis Villeneuve ("Arrival").
"I think it's kind of fun to play a character 30 years later," says original movie star Harrison Ford. (He would know what that's like, since he did it for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens").
"The story, the themes, the stunning visual environments — it was a pleasure to get back in the world of 'Blade Runner' again," he continues.
Not much is known about the plot except that Ryan Gosling plays an LAPD blade runner who "unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what's left of society into chaos." That secret leads him to track down Ford's Rick Deckard, who's been missing for 30 years.
"Blade Runner 2049" opens in theaters October 6.
