In the world of "Game of Thrones," there are many paths, but no simple directions; many potential alliances, but no way of knowing whom to trust; many questions, but no easy answers.
HBO released two new clips from the show's upcoming fifth season - which premieres April 12 - and both feature key players trying to come to terms with their new situations. Where do they go from here?
In the first, Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) questions why Varys (Conleth Hil) saved him from the dungeons of Kings Landing. "You risked your life, your position, everything - why? You're not family. You owe me nothing?"
In the second, Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) is trying to convince an imprisoned Mance Raydar (Ciaran Hinds) to align with Stannis Baratheon. It's been Mance's "life's work uniting [the wildlings] - you didn't do it for power, you didn't do it for glory." Will he now let his people fall to the coming winter?
