These Alternate 'Stranger Things' Creature Designs Are Pure Nightmare Fuel

"Stranger Things" Season 2 can't get here fast enough. One of the many cool (and creepy) things to come out of Netflix's hit series is The Creature -- and the only thing scarier than what made it to your screen are the things that didn't.

Thanks to Geek Tyrant, here are some peeks at alternate designs for the number one cause of death for friends named Barb. (Poor, poor Barb.)

Digital concept artist Nuttavut Baiphowongse mocked-up nothing short of high-octane nightmare fuel, depicting the Upside Down's most murderous resident (so far) that could fit right in with the monsters from "Silent Hill" or "The X-Files."

"Things" and its fans are eagerly awaiting word of a second season. These scary pics will just have to tide us over till then.
