Everyone is talking about the trailer for Marvel's upcoming epic team-up flick "Avengers: Infinity War," which dropped on Wednesday and instantly ignited plenty of fan fervor -- both positive and negative. It should come as no surprise, then, that the popular promo clip has easily broken the record for most trailer views in a 24-hour period.
Marvel announced the achievement on Twitter, revealing that the clip had been viewed more than 230 million times since its debut. That easily bested the previous 24-hour champion, Stephen King horror flick "It," which scared up 197 million views in its first day of release earlier this year.
Thank you to the best fans in the universe for making Marvel Studios' "@Avengers: #InfinityWar" the most viewed trailer of all time with 230 million views in 24 hours! 👏 http://pic.twitter.com/aLP7teroBe

The insanely star-studded "Infinity War" trailer features just about every hero you can think of from the MCU (well, except for Hawkeye) coming together -- many of them for the first time -- to take down Thanos (Josh Brolin), who's collecting Infinity Stones in an attempt to take over the galaxy. There's plenty of Marvel's signature wit, with a hefty dose of some darker elements, too.
With all of the excitement that this trailer has generated, it seems safe to say that the next clip should be even more explosive. (Not to mention the likely ridiculous box office numbers the flick should pull in on its opening weekend.) Until then, check out the first clip again below.
"Avengers: Infinity War" opens on May 4, 2018.
