Best of Late Night TV: Salma Hayek's 49th Birthday, Gary Busey's Wild DWTS Announcement

If you're like us and value your sleep, you probably nodded off into your Ambien dreamland before the party started on post-prime time TV. Don't worry; we've got you covered. Here's the best of what happened last night on late night.

Happy birthday, Salma Hayek! "The Prophet" star was on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Tuesday night, and as she was on the air it went past midnight, so it was her birthday, September 2. (We should all look that good at 49.) Salma said one time she got a great birthday present from Antonio Banderas when they were filming "Desperado." She had bonded with two monkeys, who were cut from the film, and she was devastated when they were gone. The next day was her birthday and Antonio got the monkeys for her. One of the monkeys ended up falling in love with her and created a bit of a love triangle. Great story and the video ends with a pinata which Jimmy and Guillermo had to help her take down. It was indestructible!
Salma also talked about the origin of her name. When she grew up, there were at least three "Salma Hayek"s that she knew of. There are three languages spoken in her home -- English, Spanish, and French. She tries not to curse in front of the kids, but her favorite cursing language is Spanish.
"Celebrity Apprentice" drama magnet Gary Busey is apparently joining "Dancing With the Stars" Season 21. He rode onto "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on a horse as part of the big announcement. The rest of the fall 2015 cast was announced on "Good Morning America." Gary should be good for some soundbites, if nothing else.

Anthony Sadler, who helped disarm that gunman on the French train, was on "The Tonight Show" Tuesday night and walked Jimmy Fallon through the whole experience, to describe how his European trip with his friends ended up with an act of heroism.
Elle Fanning was on "The Tonight Show" to talk about playing a transgender boy in the upcoming movie "About Ray" and she also previewed her senior high school class pose.
Liev Schreiber was on "Tonight Show" and talked about working out with Hugh Jackman when they shot "Wolverine." Would he come back for the new movie? He said her heard the story is Old Man Logan, so he figured he could be Old Man Sabretooth.

And in case you want a status update on Jimmy's feud with gamers, it's getting worse.
Conan, Seth Meyers, and James Corden are on repeats this week, but Stephen Colbert starts on "The Late Show" next week on September 8.
