Hermione would be so proud.Fans of Dobby from "Harry Potter" have been trying to free the plucky, adorable elf from his glass case at Leavesden's Warner Bros. Studio Tour Exhibit. They've been leaving their socks on the case - which, in "Harry Potter" canon, would free an elf. (Actually, any piece of clothing would do.)
Dobby is free of a master anyway, but in this case, fans are clearly hoping to break his likeness out of the case.

Seriously, how cute is that? So adorable that "Harry Potter" creator J.K. Rowling herself retweeted the photo.
Of course, the real Dobby (in the books and movie, anyway) tragically and bravely gave his life to save Harry and friends. RIP Dobby. We salute you.
