The 2017 Tony Award nominations were unveiled this morning, and the pop opera "Natasha, Pierre, & the Great Comet of 1812" — based in part on Leo Tolstoy's epic "War and Peace" — led the pack with 12 nods, including one for Best Musical and one for star Josh Groban.
Right behind it was the revival of "Hello, Dolly!" featuring Bette Midler and David Hyde Pierce.
The Tony Awards will be broadcast from Radio City Musical Hall on Sunday, June 11 on CBS. The host will be Oscar and Tony-winning actor Kevin Spacey.
