'The Mindy Project' Final Season Trailer Is Ex-Traordinary

Ex marks the spot in the sixth and final season of "The Mindy Project."

Hulu released a trailer for the comedy's last hurrah, and it brings back many familiar faces, including several of Mindy's ex-boyfriends.

Mindy Kaling's titular character starts the season on a high note, after marrying Ben (Bryan Greenberg) in last season's finale. As she boasts, "I got a great job, I got a great son ... 'Will & Grace' is back and bitchier than ever. I'm doing good!"

But she won't be "doing good" for long. Entertainment Weekly reported that Mindy and Ben will divorce at some point. That leaves the door open for various exes, including Brendan (Mark Duplass) and Cliff (Glenn Howerton). And, though not seen in the trailer, Chris Messina's Danny will be back for a few episodes.

The trailer also provides a glimpse at Julie Bowen, who is guest starring as a new rival for Mindy. But it does not show Reese Witherspoon (Kaling's co-star in "A Wrinkle in Time"), who will also make a cameo on the show.

"The Mindy Project" season 6 premieres Sept. 12 on Hulu.
