'General Hospital' Star Criticizes Viola Davis' Emmys Speech, Gets Dragged

Disney ABC Television Group's Remember when we were all taught "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all?" Funny how so many of us forget that the second we get near Twitter. Last night, Viola Davis won a historic Emmy as the first African-American woman to win Best Lead Actress in a Drama. Her speech was powerful and fitting for the moment. However, Nancy Lee Grahn of "General Hospital" found fault, tweeted about it, and has been the Lance Armstrong of backpedaling ever since.

Here's her initial tweet: She would soon regret going there, as evidenced by her subsequent tweets and the messages sent to her, which got her name trending: Ouch. As of Monday morning, her name was still trending. As the star of a soap opera she must be used to drama, but she probably wouldn't script this storyline for herself, in hindsight.
