Oscars 2016 Ceremony Will Have Two (or More) Hosts, Since It Went So Well Last Time

Actor James Franco and actress Anne HathLike that say, fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, and shame on you Oscars.

There's a new team of producers next year's Oscars, and one of them has revealed that they are looking for two (or more!) hosts.

"There will be multiple hosts for sure - there will be two," former Fox executive David Hill told Entertainment Weekly.

His producing partner, former BET entertainment president Reginald Hudlin, walked those comments back a little, telling EW, "We have absolutely talked about duos. We've talked about a lot of different configurations. I love that David is a flamethrower, and I'm always way more secretive and tight-lipped. But we're still very much in the brainstorming phase."

The last time there were two hosts was in 2011, when James Franco and Anne Hathaway's emceeing gig was, shall we say, not well-received. (OK, fine, everyone hated it.) So, why go back to two hosts after that debacle?

Perhaps Hill and Hudlin are thinking about the much-applauded job that Tina Fey and Amy Poehler did in hosting the Golden Globes three years in a row. They could try to copy the Golden Globes, or go with another well-known duo. EW suggests Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, whose Comedy Central show is ending this year.

Maybe Miley and Nicki will be available?
