Former "Bachelor" star Chris Soules has been arrested in Iowa after allegedly leaving the scene of a deadly car accident.
Local station KWWL reports that Soules was driving a truck that rear-ended a tractor around 8 p.m. last night, about 15 miles from where he lives in Arlington, Iowa.
Both vehicles ended up in the ditch. TMZ reports that the driver of the tractor, who has not been identified, was taken to the hospital, where he died.
The state patrol told KWWL that Soules left the scene -- which is a crime -- and abandoned his truck. According to court documents, alcoholic beverages or containers were found at the scene of the crash. People reports that Soules has not been charged with driving under the influence.

Soules was arrested, with bail set at $10,000. He'll make his first appearance in court today in Buchanan County, KWWL reports. The County Attorney says the reality star has not been cooperative with law enforcement.
Soules was previously convicted of operating a vehicle while intoxicated in 2006, according to KWWL.
He was the star of ABC's "The Bachelor" in 2015: He and his final pick, Whitney Bischoff, split shortly after the season wrapped. He later appeared on "Dancing With the Stars," where he finished in fifth place.
