Erinn Hayes Fan Suggests Her as Mandy Moore's Sister on 'This Is Us' & Both Approve

Erinn Hayes hasn't directly responded to the news that her character is being killed off of "Kevin Can Wait," but she has been liking all kinds of supportive (and anti-show) tweets. One tweet she responded to suggested her for a role on "This Is Us."

Mandy Moore's character, Rebecca Malone Pearson, is said to have a sister, and it turns out Erinn Hayes and Mandy Moore played sisters before in an unaired pilot.

Here's the exchange:

Last I checked, @TheMandyMoore had a sister on @NBCThisisUs . If she hasn't been cast yet, I nominate @hayeslady for the role.

Erinn Hayes confirmed back in June that she was "let go" from the CBS sitcom, as Leah Remini was announced to be joining Season 2 as a series regular. It wasn't clear at the time how they would write out Kevin's wife Donna, but it was just revealed that Donna will have "passed away," with the show using a time jump to explain her absence.
