We'll be seeing a lot of Benedict Cumberbatch in the coming weeks, including live from New York one Saturday night.
The "Doctor Strange" star will host "Saturday Night Live" on Nov. 5, just a day after his latest film brings its magic to theaters. The gig means that we'll get to see him in a variety of hilarious roles as he lets loose with the "SNL" cast. He follows in the footsteps of big names like Tom Hanks, Margot Robbie, Emily Blunt, and Lin-Manuel Miranda, all of whom have hosted episodes of the late-night sketch comedy show this season.
Cumberbatch's involvement was announced during the most recent episode, which was hosted by Hanks. It was also revealed that the episode will feature musical guest Solange Knowles. Between the two of them, you should have reason enough to stay in that Saturday night.
"Saturday Night Live" airs Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
