If we had invisible jets, we'd write notes in the sky, but instead we're just delighted to see the United Nations honor the character today in an event with "Wonder Woman" power trio Lynda Carter, Gal Gadot, and Patty Jenkins. Plus, "Justice League" director Zack Snyder shared a film image of Wonder Woman, aka Diana Prince, to honor the character's 75th anniversary.
On October 21, the United Nations launched a campaign to empower women and girls, featuring Wonder Woman as its honorary spokeswoman. "Wonder Woman" icon Lynda Carter joined new DC Wonder Woman Gal Gadot, the director of Gadot's upcoming "Wonder Woman" film Patty Jenkins, and DC Entertainment President Diane Nelson to mark the occasion:It's been 75 years since #WonderWoman made her first appearance in All-Star Comics #8 (October 21, 1941)!!!#WonderWoman75 http://pic.twitter.com/GUjneQAdjZ
