The remake's stars, Mena Massoud and Naomi Scott, who play Aladdin and Princess Jasmine, respectively, celebrated the milestone via Twitter on Wednesday, each describing their experience as "incredible." Scott tweeted both before and after they wrapped, first writing about how much she loved filming and later to announce it was over.
"Wrap day today," she wrote. "What an incredible 6 months. I can honestly say I've enjoyed every second. Love to my cast and crew, it's been a pleasure."

The actress followed it up with a simple second message: "And that's a wrap."

Massoud had his own glowing comments to add, along with a photo from the set.
"That's a wrap on #Aladdin!" he wrote. "It's been an incredible journey and I can't wait for you to see it summer 2019!"

The two are the leads in the upcoming live-action adaptation, directed by Guy Ritchie, which also stars Will Smith, Marwan Kenzari, Navid Negahban, and Nasim Pedrad, among others. They'll retell the classic tale, but Scott previously teased several changes. She told THR in November that they "weren't afraid to really just rip things down and start again."
Production may have wrapped, but there is still a lot of work to be done before we enter its whole new world. "Aladdin" isn't due out in theaters May 24, 2019.
