"Grey's Anatomy" Season 14 returns from winter break tonight (January 18) with Episode 9, called "1-800-799-7233." It's going to tackle the very serious issue of domestic abuse through Jo Wilson's (Camilla Luddington) storyline with her estranged husband, Paul Stadler (Matthew Morrison), and his surprise fiancée Jenny (Bethany Joy Lenz) --who may or may not know the truth about him.
However, there will apparently be time for some sexy Jaggie moments between Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams) and Maggie Pierce (Kelly McCreary).
We already saw a couple of laughing, flirty preview photos of the two -- and that got our Japril hearts in a twist -- but this is even worse. We last saw Jackson and Maggie on that bloody helicopter flight in the midseason finale. So they are presumably cleaning themselves up after that mess. But in a shameless move to show Jesse Williams shirtless, and tease out a Jaggie connection, ABC included this scene of the docs stuck waiting to put on clothes.
They have to sit together and wait, just wearing towels, until someone gives them the code to access the machine that will give them scrubs.

At least we know next week's episode will bring Jackson and April together for a patient, although the details are still unlear. Jaggie is not the most popular ship at this point, but a Jackson/Maggie pairing does have its defenders -- despite the two being stepsiblings. And it's clear from the sneak peek clip that Maggie is still into Jackson.
So the Jaggie vs. Japril drama will clearly continue. Deep sighs.
