So. Much. '70s! Yep, it's the third and final clip for "X-Men: Days of Future Past," and our fabulous freaks are in their prime when Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) appears on their respective doorsteps to recruit them for a really big mission. Those muttonchops are right on, man.
It's a hard sell to convince Raven (Jennifer Lawrence), Hank McCoy (Nicholas Hoult), and Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) to flex their mutant powers and team up to break one particular bad boy out of jail. Magneto (Michael Fassbender) has been a bad, bad boy, and as such, is tucked away deep beneath the Pentagon. That's where Pietro Maximoff (Evan Peters) and his Quicksilver skills come in.
But why would they want to let Magneto out in the first place? Sure, he's super hot and stuff, but he's pretty bad news. Well, the humans have something even worse in store for the X-Men - the Sentinels. These robots have one thing on their minds, and it's to find and kill mutants. Can these guys hug it out before then or what?
This trailer also shows off plenty of the regular gang, including Ellen Page, Halle Berry, Ian McKellen, and Patrick Stewart, who took a break from hanging out and being adorable in NYC to make this movie. That was nice of them. New faces include Peter Dinklage as a human with an impressive moustache and Omar Sy as Bishop.
"X-Men: Days of Future Past" opens on May 23. Don't worry, though. Director Bryan Singer and writers Simon Kinberg, Michael Dougherty, and Dan Harris are already hard at work on "X-Men: Apocalypse." We cannot wait to see the '80s gear that's in store for them. Hypercolor t-shirts and matching Jams, anyone?
