The 'Fantastic Four' Reboot Finds Its Doctor Doom (PHOTO)

When it comes to casting, the "Fantastic Four" reboot isn't kidding around.

The reinvigorated franchise has found its Doctor Doom (aka Victor von Doom) in British actor Toby Kebbell, Variety reports. And while he may not be as well known as his FF costars Kate Mara, Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, and Jamie Bell, he's already worked with the likes of Steven Spielberg ("War Horse"), Ridley Scott ("The Counselor"), and "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" director Matt Reeves. Chances are, you've seen this guy in action. And chances are, you'll be seeing a lot more of him.

Marvel fans worried about how this incarnation will set itself apart from its forgettable forefathers (2005's "Fantastic Four" and its sequel, 2007's "Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer"), rest assured. In addition to the talented group of actors in front of the camera, director Josh Trank ("Chronicle") heads up the "Fantastic Four" reboot, which Variety notes will focus more on the foursome in their younger years. Matthew Vaughn, who breathed new life into the X-Men franchise with "X-Men: First Class," is producing.

With that kind of talent on- and off-screen, what could go wrong?
