In a sign that things might truly have hit rock bottom for Alec Baldwin, his former "30 Rock" co-star, Tracy Morgan, says that he's worried about the actor.
Morgan, who's no stranger to controversy himself, said in an interview with the New York Times that Baldwin's recent troubles -- skirmishes with paparazzi, losing his MSNBC talk show, vowing to retreat from public life then starring in an episode of "Law and Order: SVU" -- have raised some red flags.
"He was concerned about the structure of my life, and now I'm concerned about the structure of his life," Morgan told the Times. "He's getting fired from TV shows. He had about six fights since we left '30 Rock,' you know. I'm worried about him. I mellowed out, my daughter mellowed me out, and I don't get mad at anyone."
The comedian also offered some advice to Baldwin about how he can turn things around.
"Chill out, raise your family and enjoy your wife and your daughter," Morgan said. "The paparazzi do what they do, man. They have a job, too."
Or perhaps Baldwin can take a cue from Morgan's wacky "30 Rock" character, Tracy Jordan, and just go full-on crazy. It may not be great for his mental well-being, but it sure would be entertaining for those of us who miss the zany "30 Rock" gang.
