Full Cast of 'Dancing With the Stars: Athletes' Revealed

Here we go! The spring season of "Dancing With the Stars" is different this year: Instead of 10 weeks of various "stars," they're doing four weeks of competition just between athletes.

The 10 stars of "Dancing With the Stars: Athletes" were revealed April 13 on "Good Morning America." As you can imagine, there are many holdovers from the Winter 2018 Olympics. It's also an especially figure skater-heavy cast, with three skaters. Sad that they found room for three skaters, two basketball players, and even a luge competitor, but couldn't find a single hockey or soccer player.

Anyway, here are the stars and their professional dance partners:

  • Figure skater Adam Rippon with pro dancer Jenna Johnson
  • Notre Dame basketball player Arike Ogunbowale with Gleb Savchenko
  • Luge medalist Chris Mazdzer with Witney Carson
  • Snowboarder Jamie Anderson with Artem Chigvintsev
  • Softball pitcher Jennie Finch Daigle with Keo Motsepe
  • Baseball player Johnny Damon with Emma Slater
  • Football cornerback Josh Norman with Sharna Burgess
  • Basketball legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar with Lindsay Arnold
  • Figure skater Mirai Nagasu with Alan Bersten
  • Figure skater Tonya Harding with Sasha Farber

Kareem is 70-years-old and 7'2" tall, so he's already the underdog. But he's paired with reigning pro champ Lindsay Arnold, and she's an amazing coach. So we'll see. Plus, he was in "Airplane!" and our loyalty to that movie is for life.

DWTS fans will note the absence of a few favorite pros, including Mark Ballas, Cheryl Burke, and the three Chmerkovskiys -- Val and married pros Maks and Peta. Hopefully at least a few of them will be competing on the fall season, which will return to the regular format.

DWTS: Athletes premieres Monday, April 30 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
