Some lucky folks will get to see a real-life fairtyale princess wedding up close. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are inviting members of the public to their May nuptials.
More than 2,600 people will be allowed on the grounds of Windsor Castle, where they can watch the bride and groom arrive at St. George's Chapel and then later depart in a carriage for a procession through the streets.
"Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle have said they want their wedding day to be shaped so as to allow members of the public to feel part of the celebrations too," Kensington Palace said. "This wedding, like all weddings, will be a moment of fun and joy that will reflect the characters and values of the bride and groom."
About 1,200 of those public attendees will be chosen from across U.K. after a nomination process.
"The couple has asked that the people chosen are from a broad range of backgrounds and ages, including young people who have shown strong leadership, and those who have served their communities," the palace said.
The rest will be invited from two local schools and various charities supported by the prince and former "Suits" star, including the Invictus Games.
The wedding will take place May 19 at 12 p.m. GMT (7 a.m. ET).
