'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Has Several Potential Saviors, Including Hulu

Your loss, Fox. So many suitors are hot for your ex.

Fox canceled several shows yesterday, but it was "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" that got itself trending from fan outrage. Well, The Powers That Be listened closely, and reports came out last night saying the comedy already had a few potential saviors.

According to Deadline, "Hulu, Brooklyn Nine-Nine's SVOD home, is considered the most likely choice, and I hear there had been conversations about the show moving there." That would follow a similar template from "The Mindy Project" after it was canceled by Fox and moved to Hulu. Plus, both shows are produced by Universal Television, part of the same corporate family as Hulu.

So Hulu is option No. 1, but not the only option.

Deadline also mentioned TBS as a potential home, since TBS picked up the off-network rights to "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," and the network is run by the guy who developed and picked up the show while running Fox.

Don't count out Netflix -- which saved "Arrested Development" when Fox canceled it -- although in this case Netflix is more of a dark horse because Hulu already has the streaming rights to "Brooklyn Nine-Nine."

Over at The Hollywood Reporter, sources told them Universal TV has "fielded a number of incoming calls from other outlets including Hulu (where the Andy Samberg comedy has an SVOD deal), Netflix (which has business with the studio including Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), TBS (whose president, Kevin Reilly, developed the series) and network sibling NBC."

So they heard the same things, but added NBC.

All told, it sounds like B99 fans are likely to get their wish somewhere amid this group. Just make sure to keep your voices heard about this, *actually watch the show* if it moves somewhere else, and *get your friends to watch too.* Saving the show probably won't happen multiple times.
