The long-awaited sequel to 2014's quirky and clever animated hit "The LEGO Movie" finally has an official title, and it's an appropriate moniker that nods to the flick's toy inspiration.
As revealed on the film's Twitter page, the movie will be titled "The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part." It also now has a logo, which has a similar style to the first flick's, prominently featuring the titular building blocks.

We still don't know too much (or really anything) about the plot of the follow-up film, though many members of the original voice cast are set to return, including Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, and Will Arnett. Current Hollywood It Girl Tiffany Haddish has also joined the flick, playing a new, as-yet-unnamed lead character.
"The LEGO Movie" followed a LEGO figure named Emmet (Pratt) who's mistakenly identified as the Special, and called upon to save the LEGO-verse from the evil Lord Business (Will Ferrell). He bands together with a bunch of other minifigs, including familiar characters like Batman (Arnett), Wonder Woman, Dumbledore, the Ninja Turtles, and Han Solo, to name just a few.
Directing duo Phil Lord and Chris Miller, who helmed the first film, are back as producers this time around, with Mike Mitchell ("Trolls," "The SpongeBob Movie") taking over the director's chair for the follow-up. "The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part" is due in theaters on February 8, 2018.
