"Narcos" is getting some new faces.
The Netflix drama is adding Michael Peña ("Ant-Man") and Diego Luna ("Rogue One") as series regulars in Season 4, which moves the action from Colombia to Mexico and follow the Guadalajara drug cartel's operations. Details of their characters were not revealed.
The first three seasons of "Narcos" traced the rise and downfall of Medellin kingpin Pablo Escobar (Wagner Moura) and the Cali cartel bosses that succeeded him. Pedro Pascal played DEA agent Javier Peña who worked to bring them down.
However, the end of Season 3 hinted at a move to Mexico and Agent Peña questioned his commitment to continuing his work there. Netflix's teaser for Season 4 confirmed the show's new setting:
While Luna and Peña's roles are unknown, it's possible one or both will take over as a lead agent. Or either might play one of the most infamous characters in the Mexican drug trade, Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzman.
Luna and Peña have worked together before, when the latter starred in Luna's 2014 directorial debut "Cesar Chavez."
"Narcos" Season 4 will stream sometime in 2018.
