The "Star Trek: The Next Generation" star posted a photo of himself to Twitter wearing a Trek uniform outside Hollywood's famous Chinese Theater, saying, "I loved #TheLastJedi! It hit all the right notes for me, and seeing it in the Chinese Theater, surrounded by my fellow nerds was glorious. The Force was with us. Oh, and I went in costume for the first time ever, because I am a damn adult and I get to decide what that means."

Oh, and I went in costume for the first time ever, because I am a damn adult and I get to decide what that means. http://pic.twitter.com/mTqB0LP4hV
Yes, there's a lot of crossover between "Star" fandoms, but still that's an epic troll. When a fellow "Trek" fan said she'd done the same thing, Wheaton admitted, "I almost took my communicator and my tricorder, but I was afraid the theater wouldn't let me take them in!"
And then a guy pointed out Wheaton's faux pas and called him a "dumb ass," another responded to the clueless fan, "You don't know who Wil Wheaton is, do you?"
Besides being a Nerd's Nerd and playing Wesley Crusher on "TNG," Wheaton has appeared as a fictionalized version of himself on "The Big Bang Theory" and had recurring roles on "Leverage" and "Eureka." And his own show, "The Wil Wheaton Project."#blessed. http://pic.twitter.com/DRAhvzHJ8p
