Amy Poehler Is Directing a Netflix Comedy With the Best Cast Ever

Amy Poehler's latest project has us quoting the title of her bestselling memoir: Yes, please!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Poehler is set to make her feature directorial debut on a new Netflix comedy called "Wine Country." And if that news wasn't exciting enough on its own, the cast list is pretty much perfect: Poehler herself will star, alongside a murder's row of funny women (and fellow "Saturday Night Live" alums), including Maya Rudolph, Rachel Dratch, Ana Gasteyer, Paula Pell, and Emily Spivey.

And even more exciting still is the fact that none other than Poehler's BFF (and our forever girl crush) Tina Fey will also make an appearance in the flick.

Okay, now that we're done fangirling over the film's starry cast, let's move on to what we know about the movie itself: "Wine Country" tells the story of a group of "longtime friends who go to Napa for a weekend getaway to celebrate a 50th birthday," per the official synopsis. Amy + Tina + "SNL" ladies + wine? We'll say it again: Yes, please.

Netflix is already touting "Wine Country" as "Your new favorite movie," and it's hard to argue with that statement. Now we just have to wait for an official premiere date (and replay the above clip of the starry cast singing along to the Kenny Loggins and Stevie Nicks classic "Whenever I Call You 'Friend'").
