Harley Quinn's schedule is looking packed.
Margot Robbie is developing a third follow-up project involving her breakout "Suicide Squad" character, separate from the in-the-works "Suicide Squad 2," female villains-focused "Gotham City Sirens," and a Joker/Harley Quinn spinoff.
In an interview with MTV, Robbie said, "I've been working on it for two years now. I mean, it's hard to kind of talk about it, because all the stuff is kind of under lock and key."

Even though "Suicide Squad" received negative reviews, it was still a massive hit for Warner Bros., so a sequel was inevitable. As a standout character, Harley Quinn was a hot property for spinoffs, and director David Ayer began developing one around her and other female villains (possibly Catwoman and Poison Ivy).
"I want to see her with other women," Robbie said of the "Sirens" project. "I kept saying when we were shooting 'Suicide Squad,' she needs her girlfriends."
The actress, who is getting a lot of Oscar buzz for her role as Tonya Harding in "I, Tonya," is executive-producing "Gotham City Sirens" and seems to be highly involved with this other project.
Robbie laughed, "There's a lot going on right now."
