If, like millions of other Marvel movie fans, you weren't at Comic-Con in San Diego this weekend, you didn't get to see the apparently-awesome footage shown from "Avengers: Infinity War."
Of course, a few Comic-Con attendees were astute enough to film the trailer and leak it online (watch below). But will Marvel officially release a high-quality version? Ah, don't hold your breath.
Co-director Joe Russo told ComicBook.com that there are no plans to release that footage to the mass audience.
"When the footage comes out we want it to be exactly right," he said. "So we are taking our time and working on that footage because, as you can imagine, the levels of visual effects in these movies are unprecedented and there are certain things in this footage at Comic-Con that works specifically for a Comic-Con audience. But when we go wide, to a wide audience, we have to make sure that footage works for a wide audience."
The trailer, when it was screened for the Comic-Con crowd, was very well-received. It starts with the Guardians of the Galaxy cruising along in space, until Thor smashes into their front window.
Here's a bootleg version of the trailer, which is low quality and people's heads get in the way. Also, there's no guarantee Marvel won't make the user take it down:
