How spicy would a Spicey Salsa be, and would you want to watch "Dancing With the Stars" to find out?
DWTS Season 25 premieres Monday, September 18 on ABC. The celebs should be announced sometime in late August or early September, and they often cast at least one person ripped from recent headlines. Outgoing press secretary Sean Spicer would fit that bill, and Page Six claims he is being courted by DWTS to compete this fall.
Actor Zach Braff had joked on Twitter that Spicer would go from the White House to the DWTS ballroom...

...and he may not have been wrong.
Here's how Page Six put it:
"A TV insider confirmed to Page Six that the dancing competition show has indeed reached out to the Beltway insider. 'That has legs,' the source said."
Legs! Political figures don't tend to do well on DWTS. Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry was the second boot of DWTS Season 23, and former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay withdrew from Season 9 in Week 3 after an injury. But contestants reportedly get a six-figure paycheck just for showing up, and increasing amounts the longer they stay on the show, so that alone is incentive for many to sign on.
Page Six got Spicer on the phone to ask him about this and he gave a classic "I have no comment." ABC kept to its usual reply of "We don't comment on casting." They'd probably prefer Melissa McCarthy, but she has other jobs. But maybe if Spicer does sign on, she could make a guest appearance with her "Saturday Night Live" impression.
More rumors -- solid and not -- should be coming out in the next month. If you'll recall, the spring Season 24 was won by football player Rashad Jennings & Emma Slater, followed by baseball player David Ross & Lindsay Arnold, and Fifth Harmony singer Normani Kordei & Valentin Chmerkovskiy.
