'Grey's Anatomy' Star Chandra Wilson on Bailey's Health: She 'Needs to Take Care of Herself'

Another original "Grey's Anatomy" character might be in danger, and fans want answers.

The threat emerged not in last week's episode itself, but in the promo for this week's, Episode 11, "(Don't Fear) the Reaper." The short clip showed Dr. Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) telling a nurse that she might be having a heart attack. So far, we don't know whether or not her health situation is truly dire, but with all the key characters we've seen killed off over the years, we wouldn't put anything past show creator Shonda Rhimes.

We do feel somewhat comforted, though, by what Wilson recently told EW. She was purposefully vague in order to not spoil the episode's plot, but her hints did seem to indicate that Bailey will be sticking around and just needs less stress in her life.

"Let's say Bailey has been stressed," she said. "Is Bailey leaving? I think this is the right thing to say: Bailey's been stressed and needs to take care of herself."

Wilson went on to tease more of her storyline, highlighting that this episode will show how heart disease symptoms are different for women than they are for men. Additionally, she pointed out that the ER experience can be harder for women, and that "Grey's Anatomy" will show "how to be taken seriously when you walk into an emergency room situation so that you can be properly diagnosed and properly treated."

It could be wishful thinking on our part, but that seems like knowledge the show could pass on without killing off one of its oldest and most beloved characters. Long live Dr. Bailey!

"Grey's Anatomy" airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.

'Black Panther': Octavia Spencer Plans to Treat Underserved Community to Free Screening

J.K. Rowling Had a Snarky Response to 'Fantastic Beasts' Criticism

After years of being a darling in progressive circles, J.K. Rowling has found herself the subject of some people's ire. First, it was the decision not to fire Johnny Depp, and now, it's what some critics see as a representation problem. However, Rowling isn't taking their anger quietly.

The "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" screenwriter found herself facing backlash after director David Yates told EW that Albus Dumbledore's sexuality wouldn't be referenced "explicitly" in the upcoming film. Fans had understandably been expecting that aspect of the character (played by Jude Law) to play heavily into the plot given what Rowling has told us of his feelings toward Grindelwald (Depp) in the past, so they were outraged by Yates's response. However, as Rowling pointed out on Twitter, none of these naysayers have read her screenplay, nor have they seen the entire five-film series. She also revealed that some people have been sending her "abuse" and made a snarky comment about how that has been "tons of fun."

Rowling added that she has been enjoying muting these angry people, tweeting, "Twitter without the mute button would be hell."

While the angry people do have a valid concern -- that the Fantastic Beasts series could gloss over an important part of Dumbledore's story and miss a prime opportunity for much-needed representation -- Rowling does make a good point: We don't truly know what to expect from "The Crimes of Grindelwald" or any of the three movies that will follow. For all we know, she has every intention of delving into his sexuality and ill-fated love story in future installments.

"Fantastic Beast: The Crimes of Grindelwald" is set for release on Nov. 16.

NBC Orders 'Gilded Age' From 'Downton Abbey' Creator Julian Fellowes

'Downton Abbey' Season Four Screening"Downton Abbey" may be boarded up (for now), but creator Julian Fellowes is ready to take viewers to the past again.

NBC has ordered a 10-episode season of "The Gilded Age," which is set in 1880s New York. It will mark Fellowes' first series following the award-winning "Downton Abbey."

The period drama, expected to premiere in 2019, focuses on "a period of immense social upheaval, of huge fortunes made and lost, and of palaces that spanned the length of Fifth Avenue."

For "Downton Abbey" fans, Cora Crawley was a product of this time period as a rich American heiress, but she traveled across the pond to find a noble husband.

The show follows Marian Brook, a wide-eyed daughter from a conservative family who wants to infiltrate the wealthy neighbors.

That clan includes ruthless railroad tycoon George Russell, rakish son Larry, and ambitious wife Bertha. But their "new money" proves an obstacle to gaining the favor of the Astor and Vanderbilt set. As NBC describes it, "Marian is about to experience a whole new world springing up right outside her front door."

Katherine Heigl Joins 'Suits' Season 8 as Series Regular

2017 CMT Music Awards - Red CarpetKatherine Heigl is "Suit"-ing up.

The "Grey's Anatomy" alum is joining the cast of USA's legal drama "Suits" in season 8 as a series regular. Her addition follows on the heels of the departure of stars Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle.

She'll fill a void left by Markle, who is retiring from acting ahead of her marriage to Prince Harry. Meanwhile, "Psych" alum Dulé Hill was promoted from a recurring role to step into Adams' shoes opposite star Gabriel Macht.

Heigl — who most recently appeared in the short-lived CBS drama "Doubt" — will play Samantha Wheeler, a new partner at Pearson Specter Litt who will be "the firm's greatest ally or most powerful enemy."

"I cannot wait to have [Heigl] come play with our entire cast and crew," said showrunner Aaron Korsh. "Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Harvey, Louis, Donna and Alex as the mysterious Samantha Wheeler is a direct threat to their status quo. One thing is for sure — Samantha's wit, charm, loyalty, strength and vulnerability will all be put to the test as she muscles her way into the firm currently known as Pearson Specter Litt."

"Suits" has undergone some seismic shifts in the last couple of years, first with the exit of Gina Torres as firm boss Jessica Pearson. And Adams and Markle will say farewell in the Season 7 finale, which will air in April.

'Fantastic Beasts 2' Won't Depict Dumbledore as 'Explicitly' Gay

Albus Dumbledore may be gay, but you won't find any evidence of that in "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald."

A decade ago, "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling outed the venerable headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Fans hoped that "Fantastic Beasts" would show that side of young Dumbledore, played by Jude Law in the sequel.

But director David Yates told Entertainment Weekly that the movie won't reference Dumbledore's sexuality. "Not explicitly," he said.

"But I think all the fans are aware of that. He had a very intense relationship with Grindelwald when they were young men. They fell in love with each other's ideas, and ideology and each other."

Still, Dumbledore may come out of the magical closet in future films, though. A couple of years ago, Rowling teased, "This is obviously a five-part story so there's lots to unpack in that relationship ... We'll see him at that formative period of his life. As far as his sexuality is concerned ... watch this space."

"Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" opens in theaters November 16.

'Grey's Anatomy' Casts Trans Actress Candis Cayne For 'Groundbreaking' Storyline

Los Angeles LGBT Center's An Evening With Women - ArrivalsTrans actress Candis Cayne is heading to Seattle. "Grey's Anatomy" has cast the "Transparent" alum in a "groundbreaking" storyline about a vaginoplasty surgery.

The show's writers were inspired by Hayley Anthony, a trans woman who collaborated with Jess Ting, the director of surgery at the Center for Transgender Medicine and Surgery at Mount Sinai, to come up with a innovative new procedure.

"[The surgery] revolutionizes the making of a vagina and we thought that was a really cool story and Candis is playing a character inspired by something we read," showrunner Krista Vernoff told The Hollywood Reporter.

"Grey's Anatomy" has been making an effort to include more trans characters and actors and more nuanced storytelling around them. This season, intern Casey Parker (Alex Blue Davis) came out as a "proud trans man" to Bailey (Chandra Wilson). But the disclosure was treated as merely one facet of the character, who also turned out to be a skilled hacker.

Cayne was the first trans actress to play a recurring character in primetime, on ABC's "Dirty Sexy Money" in 2007. She has also appeared in "I Am Cait," "Nip/Tuck," and "The Magicians."

Rapping Queen Helen Mirren Totally Destroys James Corden in Battle

US-ENTERTAINMENT-FILM-PREMIERE-PLEASURESEEKERMove over, Jay-Z. Give it up, Kendrick. There's a new rap sensation in town — "The Queen" Helen Mirren.

The Oscar-winning actress faced off against fellow Brit James Corden in a "Drop the Mic" segment on his late night show. She set the cutthroat tone of the rap battle at the beginning by imperiously ordering Corden to "bow down." And things just got sharper, shadier, and side-splittingly funnier from there.

Corden took his first shot with the line, "Back home she's considered the actress you have to fear. We're in America now, Meryl Streep lives here." He also referenced Judi Dench, Meghan Markle, and Mirren's ex-boyfriend, Liam Neeson.

But Mirren, who next appears in "Winchester," had a devastating comeback ready. "Sorry, James, I'm not single, but know I taught your little mister to tingle."

Mirren's flow had a decidedly feminist slant. She brought the house down with her last line: "Compare me to Meryl, Judi, Meghan, but why? They're not my competition, they're my ride-or-die.

"See, women are a force to be reckoned with, and I reckon I've wrecked you. You've been to hell and back, bitch."

Mic, dropped.

Watch Chris Pratt Get Super Serious About Michelob Ultra in Super Bowl Commercial

Premiere Of Neon's 'Ingrid Goes West' - ArrivalsChris Pratt takes every role seriously — very seriously.

The "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" star headlines Michelob Ultra's Super Bowl ad. In it, he lands the commercial gig and starts preparing. He lifts weights at the gym, goes Method by installing a bar in his house, muses on his character's back story, and drinks a lot of the beer. Hey, it's all part of being the best Chris in Hollywood.

But when he shows up to shoot the ad, Pratt gets a big pint of reality.

But despite seemingly throwing back a bunch of beers in the add, there's no sign of a beer gut on the actor. Pratt shows off a majorly buff body, appearing topless in several shots. His cut physique will also be on display in two big movies this summer, "Avengers: Infinity War" on May 4 and "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" on June 22.

Diane Lane, Greg Kinnear Join Final Season of 'House of Cards'

Two new players are coming to play "House of Cards." The Netflix political drama is adding Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear to the cast for its sixth and final season.

"House of Cards" was shut down in the middle of production on the season after star and executive producer Kevin Spacey was fired over sexual misconduct allegations.

Netflix and producers Media Rights Capital decided to rework the story to focus on Robin Wright's character, Claire Underwood. At the end of Season 5, President Frank Underwood (Spacey) resigned and wife/VP Claire took over. Wright turned to the camera for one of the show's signature fourth-wall-breaking asides to say "My turn."

Lane and Kinnear will play siblings, but more details about their characters are unknown. The cast also includes Michael Kelly, Jayne Atkinson, Patricia Clarkson, Constance Zimmer, Derek Cecil, Campbell Scott and Boris McGiver.

Lane is an Oscar, Emmy, and Golden Globe nominee who can be seen in Amazon's upcoming "The Romanoffs." Kinnear also recently worked for Amazon, in "Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams."

Marvel Boss: 'X-Men,' 'Avengers' Integration Is 'Years Away'

The "X-Men" aren't assembling into "The Avengers" anytime soon.

When Disney announced its plans to acquire 21st Century Fox's entertainment business, fans immediately began speculating about the integration of the latter's "X-Men" franchise into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Marvel, of course, has been pumping out blockbusters for Disney. But the comics company had sold the rights for "X-Men" to Fox years ago. So, it seemed impossible for the characters to cross over, even there is literally a comic storyline called "Avengers vs. X-Men."

Now, with the proposed acquisition, the impossible has become possible. But Marvel boss Kevin Feige hit the brakes on crossover talk in an interview with Vulture.

"It would be years away," Feige said. "We've announced everything through 2019, so none of those would be adjusted."

Those movies include "Captain Marvel," a fourth untitled "Avengers" movie, Sony/Marvel's "Spiderman: Homecoming" follow-up," and "Guardians of the Galaxy 3."

Feige also noted that the deal has yet to go through. There are massive regulatory issues to work out in the combination of two huge media conglomerates.

"The truth of the matter as I understand it is the deal has to be figured out," he said. "There's been no communication. We're not thinking about it. We're focusing on everything we've already announced. If and when the deal actually happens, we'll start to think more about it. Until then, we have a lot to do."

Jim Caviezel Confirms Return as Jesus in 'Passion of the Christ 2'

A resurrection is underway for Jim Caviezel.

The actor has confirmed he will reprise his role as Jesus Christ in Mel Gibson's planned sequel to "Passion of the Christ" — even though the character, like, totally died in the 2004 original movie.

The sequel would likely focus on Jesus' resurrection and the immediate aftermath, when he appears to his disciples and other followers.

"There are things that I cannot say that will shock the audience," Caviezel told USA Today.

He added, "I won't tell you how [Gibson] is going to go about it. But I'll tell you this much, the film he's going to do is going to be the biggest film in history. It's that good."

Gibson announced his plan to make a sequel in 2016, though it was unclear if Caviezel would return (the actor is now 49). The original movie was a blockbuster hit, earning $612 million worldwide.

"The Resurrection. Big subject. Oh, my God," Gibson said at the time of the announcement. "We're trying to craft this in a way that's cinematically compelling and enlightening so that it shines new light, if possible, without creating some weird thing."

Hugh Jackman's Laugh Is Everything in 'The Greatest Showman' Bloopers

Cole Sprouse Just Landed the First Movie Role of His Adult Career

"Suite Life" and "Riverdale" star Cole Sprouse will co-lead "Five Feet Apart."

Cole and his twin brother Dylan Sprouse, now 25, started in the industry together -- from "Grace Under Fire" to "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody." But now they are really branching out and finding success on their own. Cole currently stars as Jughead Jones on "Riverdale," and Dylan has been starring in independent films like "Dismissed."

Now Cole will be expanding his filmography with "Five Feet Apart." According to The Hollywood Reporter, the uplifting romantic drama follows two young people who meet and fall in love while being treated for their illnesses, knowing they are both on borrowed time. Cole will play one half of the couple, in what will mark the first film role of his adult career.

Cole and Dylan made their film debuts together in Adam Sandler's "Big Daddy" in 1999. Cole's last film credit is a voice role in "Kung Fu Magoo" in 2010, which also featured Dylan. Cole's last screen time in a movie was in the 2009 project "The Kings of Appletown," also starring Dylan, when they were both 17.

THR says "Five Feet Apart" is aiming for a spring 2018 shoot, directed by "Jane the Virgin" star, and documentary director, Justin Baldoni.

Meanwhile, "Riverdale" Season 2 is still chugging along at its own crazy pace, with a musical episode coming up in April.

Yes, Please: Peter Dinklage & Morgan Freeman Rap in This Epic Super Bowl 2018 Ad

This is the true Song of Ice and Fire!

Super Bowl 2018 commercials are starting to hit the web, and this one is both fun and totally unexpected.

To promote Doritos Blaze, "Game of Thrones" star Peter Dinklage reps Team Dany proud with his fiery lip sync rap to Busta Rhymes' verse on "Look at Me Now." For his part, Morgan Freeman gives a surprisingly perfect Missy Elliott "Gut Ur Freak On" lip sync to promote Mountain Dew Ice. The real singers also have nice little cameos in the ad.

Watch the "rap" stars in action:Legends only!

Just play it again and again. We can only bow. Jon Snow only wishes he were this cool -- literally. But, as one fan suggested, maybe Dany and Jon should do the next Ice and Fire rap battle in advance of the "Game of Thrones" Season 8 premiere in 2019.

The Super Bowl and its must-see commercials start airing this Sunday, February 4 at 6:30 p.m. EST on NBC.

'The Rhythm Section' Shuts Down Indefinitely Over Blake Lively's Complicated Injury

Leslie Jones Is Returning to the Olympics for NBC and We Can't Wait

"Saturday Night Live" star Leslie Jones is an avowed Olympics superfan, so much so that her enthusiastic tweeting during the 2016 summer games in Rio led to NBC officially inviting her to attend the event. Naturally, the network wasn't going to let another Olympics come and go without Jones on its team, and NBC announced this week that the comedian will be there in PyeongChang, South Korea throughout the winter games.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jones will both contribute to online coverage (likely mainly through her Twitter account), as well as appear in some televised segments. Much like she did in Rio, she'll attend multiple events and meet and greets with athletes, and obviously, provide plenty of hilarious, boisterous commentary along the way.

"Experiencing the Olympics through the lens of Leslie is unlike anything else," said Jim Bell, president of Olympics production and programming for NBC, in a statement. "Her passion for Team USA is contagious, and her adventures in South Korea should be fascinating."

We can't wait to follow along. Watch Jones's excited announcement below for a taste of her PyeongChang coverage to come.

The Winter Olympics will air on NBC beginning with the opening ceremony (co-hosted by returning NBC vet Katie Couric) on February 9.

'Suits' Renewed for Season 8, Without Meghan Markle and Patrick J. Adams

"Suits" has officially been renewed for an eighth season, but it's going to continue without its two biggest stars.

USA announced on Tuesday that the legal drama would be back for another round, and also made the news official that Patrick J. Adams would be departing. Rumors first surfaced back in November that the actor and costar Meghan Markle would be leaving the show after the end of the current seventh season; USA had previously confirmed Markle's departure, since she'll be busy being royalty, but Adams's exit wasn't a sure thing until now.

Though it wasn't entirely unexpected that "Suits" would get renewed, it's still a little surprising, considering the upcoming nuptials between Adams and Markle's characters, Mike and Rachel, would be a fitting series finale. (Not to mention losing both Adams and Markle would certainly leave a gaping hole in the cast.) But the series is forging on, with Dule Hill promoted to series regular for season eight.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Adams also left the door open for a potential return to the show sometime in the future. But for now, the actor said he would be enjoying an extended break before seeing where his career takes him next.

"I've loved and cherished my time on this show and the past seven years have been some of the most challenging and transformational years of my entire life," Adams told THR. "I owe a huge debt to the whole cast, crew, everybody at USA Network and at [producers] Hypnotic and Universal Cable Productions. If it felt like it was the appropriate thing to bring Mike back for a big goodbye then that's something I could be open to. But hopefully I'll be too busy at that point to be able to do it, and then I'll have to figure it out."

Season seven of "Suits" returns for its final eight episodes on March 28 on USA. The two-hour season finale, featuring the final appearance of Adams and Markle, is set for April 25.

'Glee' Star Mark Salling Dies of Apparent Suicide Ahead of Child Pornography Sentencing

Former "Glee" star Mark Salling, who had recently pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography, has died of an apparent suicide, according to several media outlets. He was 35.

According to TMZ, Salling was found dead on Tuesday near a baseball field close to his California home, after family members notified police he was missing. According to law enforcement sources who spoke to TMZ off the record, the star committed suicide. There's been no official statement from police, however, as The Hollywood Reporter writes that law enforcement officials are waiting to publicly comment on the actor's cause of death pending notification of his family.

Salling was awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty in October to numerous counts of possession of child pornography, with investigators reporting that the actor had been found with more than 50,000 images and 600 videos depicting abuse of children as young as three years old. As part of his plea deal, he was expected to serve between four and seven years in prison, as well as register as a sex offender. A sentencing hearing had been scheduled for March.

Salling was first arrested in December 2015, after an ex-girlfriend reportedly tipped off police to his activity. The actor played Noah "Puck" Puckerman on musical dramedy "Glee," which ran on Fox from 2009 through 2015.

'Black Panther' Early Reviews Rave the 'Iconic' Film 'Will Change Superhero Movies Forever'

Marvel's latest addition to the MCU, the standalone flick "Black Panther," held its splashy Hollywood premiere on Monday night, featuring a majorly star-studded guest list and a purple carpet fit for royalty. But that spectacle was nothing compared to what the film itself offered, with early reviews suggesting that the movie is nothing short of a masterpiece.

The hyperbolic praise was a bit vague on details, thanks to a review embargo that won't lift for a few days. But what those in attendance could share should certainly entice fans to line up on opening weekend (which is already predicted to be huge, by the way, thanks to massive advance ticket sales numbers and some pretty exceptional early box office tracking estimates).

Words like "iconic," "exceptional," "astonishing," and "beautiful" were tossed around, and most critics were on the same page with declarations that the film was "unlike anything Marvel has ever done" and "will change the landscape of superhero movies forever." And then there was a very simple, very awesome (and very NSFW) rave from Laurence Fishburne, who reportedly said to himself throughout the screening, "Oh, Sh*t. Oh, SH*T."

Check out some of the highlights below.

"Black Panther," starring Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, hits theaters on February 16.

Jamie Lee Curtis Shares First Photo From Set of New 'Halloween' Movie

Andrew Lincoln Previews 'Catharsis' of Carl's Death on 'The Walking Dead'

If you have to go out on "The Walking Dead," go out in style.

When the AMC zombie drama returns to finish its eighth season on Feb. 25, it'll be the last episode for Carl (Chandler Riggs). He was bitten by a walker in the midseason finale, and since then, producers and cast members have acknowledged that this is definitely the end for the troubled teen.

Andrew Lincoln, who plays Carl's dad Rick Grimes, said at least Carl's death provides "catharsis" for everybody.

"I'm not going to lie to you, that was sad," he noted. "The beautiful thing is it's what we rarely do in our show — we actually give the opportunity for a goodbye. It was unusual in that regard. Usually, things happen and people are ripped from you in this world that we inhabit. Thankfully, there was some sense of catharsis on this one, because we got to leave it all out on the screen. I thought Chandler did a remarkable job, as he always has done, but particularly in this episode."

But Carl's death will serve a purpose in the story, propelling Rick to new emotional places. "There is a balancing of the scales in Rick's life that happens in the back eight episodes," Lincoln teased. "A lot of it is because of what is said in episode 9, by his son."

"The Walking Dead" returns Sunday, Feb. 25 on AMC.

The streaming service dropped the first trailer for its upcoming movie, "Mute," from director Duncan Jones ("Moon," "Source Code"). The sci-fi project is a labor of love for Jones that has been in the works for over a dozen years.

Alexander Skarsgard stars as a mute bartender searching for his missing girlfriend in the grim, shadowy streets of near-future Berlin. Paul Rudd and Justin Theroux play irreverent U.S. Army surgeons who get involved with his journey, all while pursuing a mission of their own.

Jones has described the story as a "sci-fi 'Casablanca,'" with noir elements in a "Blade Runner"-like dystopian world. The movie is set in the same universe as the director's "Moon" and Sam Rockwell makes a cameo as his character from that film.

The project has been in development so long that Jones even called it his "Don Quixote," referencing Terry Gilliam's famously doomed attempt at a film adaptation.

"Mute" begins streaming Feb. 23 on Netflix.

'Fuller House' Renewed For Season 4 by Netflix

"Fuller House" is keeping its doors open.

Netflix has renewed the comedy, a spinoff of the '90s TGIF classic "Full House," for a fourth season. The announcement comes just six weeks after the second half of Season 3 began streaming on Dec. 22.

Fans will be pleased to follow up on the momentous events of the Season 3 finale. [SPOILERS AHEAD] Kimmy (Andrea Barber) had successfully gotten pregnant as a surrogate for her brother Jimmy and Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin).

Season 4 should also up the nostalgia factor significantly, since Danny (Bob Saget), Joey (Dave Coulier), Jesse (John Stamos) and Rebecca (Lori Loughlin) are all moving back to San Francisco.

The finale also teased a possible cameo by a TGIF legend — Steve Urkel! The character (played by Jaleel White) appeared in a 1991 episode of "Full House" and series creator Jeff Franklin told TV Line he may just pop by the Tanner household once again.

"I'm good friends with Jaleel, and we've talked about it," Franklin said. "It's a really big deal for Jaleel to bring this character back, so I'm not sure that he wants to — but if he does decide to, this would be a great way for him to reprise the character.

"And who knows, maybe that'll happen. I'd love to see it. I think everybody's curious about whatever happened to Steve Urkel, so the audience would really enjoy it. We have some fun ideas, so we'll see how that shakes out."

"Fuller House" will return later this year.

First 'Ant-Man and the Wasp' Trailer Launches Beautiful New Partnership

Meet the new dynamic duo.

Marvel released the first trailer for "Ant-Man and the Wasp," which brings back Paul Rudd as the thief-turned-tiny-superhero Scott Lang. The sequel teams him up with Evangeline Lilly's Hope Van Dyne, who gets a suit of her own.

They're on the run, after Scott's defeat along with Captain America's side in "Civil War." Her father, Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), goes with them, packing up his entire tech company in a tiny cube (a great visual gag). Not only must Scott and Hope evade the authorities, they also use their suits to enter the Quantum Realm to find her mother (Michelle Pfeiffer).

The trailer has the breezy, heist-like tone of the first movie, but adds a screwball romantic comedy vibe that plays off the chemistry between Rudd and Lilly. Also starring are Michael Peña, Walton Goggins, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, and Laurence Fishburne.

"Ant-Man" and the Wasp" opens in theaters July 6, 2018.

Kaya Scodelario Joins Zac Efron, Lily Collins in Ted Bundy Biopic 'Extremely Wicked'

"Maze Runner: The Death Cure" star Kaya Scodelario is going from one twisted reality to another: The actress has been cast as Ted Bundy's former wife in the upcoming biopic "Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile."

Scodelario is set to play Carole Ann Boone, a woman who married and divorced the infamous serial killer, Variety reports. She joins a cast that also includes Zac Efron, who is playing Bundy, and Lily Collins, who stars as Elizabeth Kloepfer, his longtime girlfriend whom Bundy was also dating as he started his relationship with Boone. This film centers on Kloepfer as she comes to terms with the terrifying truth of who her boyfriend is.

The project is currently filming, and Efron recently shared the first photo of himself as Bundy. From what we've seen so far, we're excited to watch him as the charming yet creepy character. The addition of Scodelario is another good sign, as she's starred in films like the Maze Runner series and "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales," not to mention the British TV series "Skins."

The release date for "Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile" has not yet been announced.

'Wonder Years' Star Says Show Was Canceled Because of Sexual Harassment Allegations

The #MeToo movement has brought a perhaps surprising TV series back into the spotlight: the beloved family comedy-drama "The Wonder Years."

How, you may be asking, did this happen? Well, for those who don't remember or never knew, the series' six-season run ended in 1993 in the wake of a sexual harassment lawsuit. Star Alley Mills, who played Arnold family matriarch Norma, recently told Yahoo! Entertainment that the show was canceled because of allegations against stars Fred Savage and Jason Hervey, who were then 16 and 20, respectively, and played her TV sons Kevin and Wayne.

Mills brought up decades-old claims by Monique Long, a wardrobe set costumer who worked on the series from August 1991 through April 1992 and then from August through October 1992, as the Los Angeles Times reported in March 1993. She claimed that the two young actors had repeatedly harassed her, with Savage allegedly constantly asking her to have an affair with him and Hervey allegedly making "sexual and lewd" comments.

At the time, Savage's lawyer called her claims "false and totally fabricated," which Mills clearly agrees with. She told Yahoo that the lawsuit was "completely ridiculous" and defended Savage, calling him "the least offensive, most wonderful, sweet human being that ever walked the face of the Earth." She also indicated that she thinks the #MeToo and Time's Up Movements are "very tricky," saying that they have brought important information to light but that false claims can pop up. The actress claimed that the series would have continued had it not been for the lawsuit.

So far, ABC, Savage, and Hervey have not commented on Mills's interview, but Savage told SFGate in May 1996 that he was "completely exonerated" and that it was a "terrible experience" he didn't want to discuss. For her part, Long stands by her comments, according to Yahoo.

Shannen Doherty Is Curious About 'Charmed' Reboot Despite Its 'Terrible' Description

The "Charmed" reboot tripped out of the gate with its pilot announcement last week, but original star Shannen Doherty is giving it the benefit of the doubt.

Like most of the supernatural series' die-hard fans as well as her former co-star Holly Marie Combs, Doherty took issue with the fact that the network described the prospective series as "fierce, funny, feminist" -- as if they hadn't managed to do just that the first time around. She discussed the reboot with fans on Twitter, admitting that she felt The CW's wording was "terrible and a bit offensive." However, she also shared that she is "curious about their plans for it" and wrote a series of tweets about what the reboot means to her.

"Everything is a remake or a reboot. Every show, every movie in some way. Charmed was a wonderful empowering show for women," she said of the series she starred in for three seasons. "I'm proud I started a show that has stood the test of time with such loyal fans. It's a testament to the original that a new one is even being considered. And no, it won't be the same but nothing is."

Doherty went on to have a thoughtful discussion with fans, asking what they'd think if it was "not a reboot and just was a show about sisters and family dynamics with super natural powers." As the conversation went on, she discussed The CW's "terrible and a bit offensive wording" but also shared an optimistic view of how a new generation could benefit from more "Charmed."

"Im [sic] intrigued by the idea that a new generation might be comforted, inspired like all you were," she wrote. "Charmed helped us all in some way."

Doherty has a good attitude about this whole situation. The pilot announcement may have missed the mark, but hopefully the reboot will be able to bring back the original's magic.

Netflix Renews 'Fuller House' for Season 4

Netflix is keeping the Tanner-Fuller family together: The streaming service has renewed "Fuller House" for a fourth season.

TVLine was first to report that the series -- a sequel to '90s hit "Full House" -- would be back for another round, following up on the eventful end of season three. The news has since been confirmed by several other trades, though Netflix itself has yet to comment.

Season four will certainly be an eventful one, if the ending of season three was any indication. Danny (Bob Saget), Joey (Dave Coulier), Jesse (John Stamos) and Becky (Lori Loughlin) are all poised to move back to San Francisco, and Kimmy (Andrea Barber) is now pregnant, acting as the surrogate for Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and Jimmy's (Adam Hagenbuch) baby.

TVLine also reports that Steve Urkel may even drop by this season, a nod to the "Family Matters" character's "Full House" cameo way back in 1991. Though there's nothing official in the works just yet -- or if there is, showrunners aren't saying anything -- Urkel (played by Jaleel White) was named-dropped in the "Fuller House" season three finale, leading fans to speculate he could pop up in a future episode.

No word yet on when season four of "Fuller House" is set to premiere. Stay tuned.

Aretha Franklin Hand-Picked Jennifer Hudson to Play Her in New Biopic

The Queen of Soul will finally have her story told on the big screen, and she personally picked out the person who will be playing her.

That's the story from Deadline, which reports that a new biopic about Aretha Franklin is in the works, and fellow big-voiced singer Jennifer Hudson is set to star. The news was announced during producer Clive Davis's annual pre-Grammys party on Saturday night, a star-studded event that's become almost as famous among industry folk as the music awards themselves.

According to Deadline, Davis -- who has worked alongside Franklin since the early days of her career -- introduced Hudson to sing at the party, and revealed that she would be playing Franklin, a casting that the legendary songstress approved herself. No additional details about the film were provided, though Deadline reports that MGM is the studio behind the biopic.

Although there's not a lot of information to go on at this point, Franklin's storied career is certainly ripe for exploration, from her early success with iconic singles like "Respect" and "A Natural Woman," to her civil rights activism, to her current role as living musical legend. And Hudson is a natural fit to play her, having carved out her own impressive legacy from "American Idol" also-ran to Oscar-winning actress and Grammy-winning singer.

Deadline reports that the film is currently searching for a screenwriter and director. With Hudson on board and Franklin's blessing, this flick should likely secure both soon.

Tom Hanks to Play Mister Rogers in Biopic 'You Are My Friend'

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, Hollywood, and America in general: Tom Hanks is set to play beloved children's TV icon Mister Rogers in an upcoming biopic.

Variety has the scoop that Hanks has signed on to star as Fred Rogers in "You Are My Friend," a film that's loosely based on the real-life friendship between Rogers and award-winning journalist Tom Junod. In 1998, Junod wrote a celebrated profile of Rogers for Esquire magazine, inspiring the film's plot.

Here's the logline, per Variety:

" ... a cynical journalist begrudgingly accepts an assignment to write a profile piece on the beloved icon and finds his perspective on life transformed."

In addition to Hanks -- who, as a fellow national treasure, is perfectly cast as Rogers -- the impressive team behind "You Are My Friend" includes director Marielle Heller. Heller, who received rave reviews for her debut feature, 2015's "The Diary of a Teenage Girl," said in a statement that she was "thrilled" to get behind the camera again for "Friend."

"The script knocked me out with its message of kindness and its exploration of the human spirit," her statement said. "As a mother, I am so inspired by the teachings of Fred Rogers and as a human I am in awe of his life's work. I can't wait to bring his story to the public and be a part of such a thoughtful, smart group of people who are all coming together to make this film, which truly feels to me like an antidote to our very fractured culture."

We can't wait, either.

No word yet on when "You Are My Friend" is expected to hit theaters. Stay tuned.

Watch Cher Sing 'Fernando' in New 'Mamma Mia!' Sequel Clip

There was something in the air last night, and it was a new trailer for "Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again."

Fans are not over the apparent death of Meryl Streep's Donna in the upcoming sequel (whyyyyyy?!), but at least the rest of the original movie cast is still alive and well, plus they added Cher.

Cher plays Ruby Sheridan, mother of Donna, and grandmother of Amanda Seyfried's Sophie. The new clip that dropped during the 2018 Grammys shows Cher's Ruby singing the ABBA song "Fernando":

Nana Ruby is going to be an awkward party guest, but it's good to see Cher on screen again. The Oscar winner hasn't been in a movie since "Burlesque" in 2010.

Here's the official movie synopsis:

"Get ready to sing and dance, laugh and love all over again.

Ten years after Mamma Mia! The Movie grossed more than $600 million around the world, you are invited to return to the magical Greek island of Kalokairi in an all-new original musical based on the songs of ABBA. With the film's original cast returning and new additions including Lily James (Cinderella, Baby Driver), the musical comedy will open on July 20, 2018. [...]

Reprising their roles from Mamma Mia! The Movie are Academy Award winner Meryl Streep as Donna, Julie Walters as Rosie and Christine Baranski as Tanya. Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper reunite as Sophie and Sky, while Pierce Brosnan, Stellan SkarsgĂĄrd and Oscar winner Colin Firth return to play Sophie's three possible dads: Sam, Bill and Harry.

As the film goes back and forth in time to show how relationships forged in the past resonate in the present, James will play the role of Young Donna. Filling the roles of Young Rosie and Young Tanya are Alexa Davies (A Brilliant Young Mind) and Jessica Keenan Wynn (Broadway's Beautiful). Young Sam will be played by Jeremy Irvine (War Horse), while Young Bill is Josh Dylan (Allied) and Young Harry is Hugh Skinner (Kill Your Friends)."

"Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again" opens July 20th, 2018.

Stana Katic Admits She Was 'Hurt' by 'Castle' Exit: 'It Was a Harsh Ending'

It has been almost two years since the shocking news that "Castle" was dropping its female lead. Stana Katic was not asked to return for Season 9, which ended up not airing on ABC after huge fan outcry.

Fast-forward to 2018, and Katic is starring in a new Amazon series called "Absentia," premiering this Friday. To promote the show, she talked to Entertainment Weekly about her new presumed-dead FBI agent character Emily Byrne, and compared her to Kate Beckett on "Castle." She also addressed her departure for the first time since it happened, since her previous statements had just been brief thanks to fans for their support.

Here's that part of her EW Q&A:

How do you feel about the way your abrupt exit from Castle was handled?
I'm actually still not clear on the thought process behind the way that it went down. It hurt and it was a harsh ending, but now, nearly two years later...I met so many beautiful people on that project, and we collaborated on something really unique in that it's not every day that you get a show, or a series, that has eight seasons and that it was a hit for the network. It would be a disservice to those people, to the work that we did together, and to my work, which I feel contributed, in part, to the success of the show, to be anything but grateful because, at the end of the day, that was a fantastic platform. It was a formative experience, and we told a love story that I feel moved people, touched people, and I can't be anything but glad that I was a part of something like that. I hope it remains something special in viewers' minds forever.

Right after it was announced that she'd be leaving "Castle," she shared a brief statement:

"Rather [than] distract from what was an amazing experience, I would just like to say that I'm very grateful to ABC for giving me the opportunity to be a part of a much beloved show. Thank you to the fans."

About a month later, after the show was canceled, she posted a thank-you note to fans for eight great seasons:

"Absentia" starts this Friday, Feb. 2 on Amazon Prime.

The Dundee Movie, Now With Hugh Jackman, Is Just a Super Bowl Commercial

The 2018 'Celebrity Big Brother' Cast Is Here, and It Should Look Pretty Familiar

The first CBS edition of "Celebrity Big Brother" now has houseguests. The "concentrated run" won't go on for months, like the summer seasons; instead, it'll air for 13 nights -- starting Wednesday, February 7 -- serving as counterprogramming to NBC's Winter Olympics.

The cast members -- or at least 11 of them, is one more coming? -- were revealed during the 2018 Grammy Awards:

• Omarosa Manigault, "The Apprentice" alum who recently left Donald Trump's White House in *dramatic* fashion.

• "American Pie" actress Shannon Elizabeth

• Sugar Ray's Mark McGrath

• "The Cosby Show" star Keshia Knight Pulliam

• "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast member Brandi Glanville

• Former NBA star Metta World Peace

• UFC light heavyweight champ Chuck Liddell

• "Big Time Rush" actor/singer James Maslow

• Tony-winning "Hairspray" actress Marissa Jaret Winokur

• TV personality Ross Matthews

• Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez

Those names should be familiar to reality TV fans, since most of them already competed on "Dancing With the Stars" or "The Celebrity Apprentice." (Sorry to not see professed "Big Brother" fan Bobby Moynihan on the list.)

This shortened celeb edition of "Big Brother" will still include Head of Household and Power of Veto comps, as well as live evictions and the usual 24/7 live feeds at CBS All Access (and Twitter).

"Celebrity Big Brother" starts with a three-night premiere event airing Wednesday, February 7 at 8 p.m. EST, Thursday, Feb. 8 at 8 p.m., and a two-hour live eviction show on Friday, Feb. 9 at 8 p.m.

Who has your early odds to win the $250,000 grand prize, and who will be evicted first?
