Debbie Lee Carrington of 'Total Recall' and 'Return of the Jedi' Dies

Actress Debbie Lee Carrington was a little person who made a big impression in films including the original "Total Recall," in which she played a Martian resistance fighter named Thumbelina.

According to Deadline, Carrington, 58, died in her sleep from undetermined causes.

Friends, family and and colleagues remembered her on Twitter, including Jennifer Tilly, who costarred with her in 1998's "Bride of Chucky."

Writer-director Don Mancini also paid tribute to the actress. Because of her diminutive size, Carrington played characters from Ewoks to the Emperor Penguin in "Batman Returns" and an alien in "Men in Black."

Her non-costume roles include "Tiny Avenger" on "In Living Color," a memorable guest turn on "Seinfeld," Mimi's Mini-Me on "The Drew Carey Show," and a spandex-clad poet in a perplexing performance art piece with Rachael Leigh Cook's artsy character in "She's All That."

Report: 'New Mutants' Undergoing Reshoots To Amp Up the Horror

"The New Mutants," the all-teen X-Men spinoff, was supposedly finished, screened and given a big thumbs-up from test audiences.

But after "It" became such a massive hit, Fox executives decided to ditch the "John Hughes meets Stephen King" vibe and make the film straight-up horror. At least according to an "insider report" over at The Tracking Board.

Director Josh Boone originally announced, "We are making a full-fledged horror movie set within the X-Men universe.... We're trying to do something very, very different." But then the studio reportedly demanded a PG-13 rating and less blood and gore.

After releasing a trailer that emphasized the scarier aspects of the film, Fox then reportedly decided to go "full horror" after all. That means extensive reshoots and a new release date: August 2019.

In other "New Mutants" rumors, Jon Hamm will no longer appear as Mr. Sinister in a post-credits tag. Instead, Antonio Banderas will be teased as a different villain.

"The New Mutants" -- which stars Maisie Williams ("Game of Thrones"), Anya Taylor-Joy ("The Witch") and Charlie Heaton ("Stranger Things"), and Henry Zaga ("13 Reasons Why") -- was originally going to be released in April 2018.

'Ren & Stimpy' Creator Accused of Statutory Rape, Child Porn

John KricfalusiCringing to hear that John Kricfalusi, creator of Nickelodeon's cult favorite "The Ren & Stimpy Show," is the latest to be outed as an alleged sexual predator.

A lengthy Buzzfeed exposé details accusations of how he reportedly groomed female animation fans and preyed on girls as young as 13. His own lawyer admits that the now-62-year-old "had a 16-year-old girlfriend... for a brief time, 25 years ago."

Kricfalusi's attorney also claims the animator was dealing with alcoholism and mental illness at the time of the alleged abuse, thanks to having been fired from his own show.

Two of the women share their alarming stories with Buzzfeed, backed up by coworkers who were shocked by Kricfalusi's behavior.

Tony Mora, who as an art director at Warner Bros. at the time, told BuzzFeed that Kricfalusi was known for harassing female artists. "It's always been there," said Mora, who shares that no one at Spumco, Kricfalusi's company, batted an eye at the boss having a girlfriend who was still in high school.

Besides creating the show, Kricfalusi also voiced short-tempered chihuahua Ren. We can never think of "Happy Happy Joy Joy" or "Log!" the same again.

In more icky Nickelodeon news, just a few days ago, the cable channel parted ways with Dan Schneider, who helped create such hits as "iCarly," "'Drake & Josh," and "Kenan & Kel." He was dismissed after a lengthy history of alleged sexual misconduct allegations.

Nickelodeon issued a statement about Schneider, but so far has declined to comment on the allegations against Kricfalusi.

Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter 'Bill & Ted' Reunion Photos Give Us Life

EWWe didn't realize how much we needed these most excellent photos of Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter as older (but still totally rad) Bill & Ted.

The two actors, who played the lovable stoner time travelers in "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" and the 1991 sequel, reunited for an awesome photo shoot for EW's Reunion Issue. (Love those Napoleon and Joan of Arc T-shirts.)

They also talked about the long-in-the-works third film, "Bill & Ted Face the Music," which, is thisclose to finally finding a financier after 11 years of development hell. The film would find now 50-something Bill and Ted married with kids (no, not to each other!) and revisiting their past.

At the end of the first film, Rufus (George Carlin) told them they would write music that would turn the world into a utopia. And that never happened.

"You're told you're gonna save the world," original "Bill & Ted" writer Chris Matheson tells EW. "And now you're 50 and you haven't done it."

According to Reeves, Bill and Ted are given a mandate to step up and fulfill that promise: "Someone comes from the future and says: 'Not only do you have to save the world, you have to save everything...""

"I think it's kind of like 'A Christmas Carol' with Bill and Ted," teases co-creater Ed Solomon. "Looking at their lives, and really kind of rediscovering what they're about."

Solomon recently revealed the most heinous truth that many execs would rather fund a reboot than a sequel. To which we cry, "Bogus!"

There's already a director (Dean Parisot of "Galaxy Quest" fame) and a producer (Steven Soderbergh, no less) ready to go. And William Sadler is game to return as Death. Now they just need the money! C'mon, someone with cash please make this movie happen!

Arnold Schwarzenegger Is Recovering After Open Heart Surgery: 'I'm Back'

Arnold Schwarzenegger Arrives For Arnold Sports Festival AustraliaHe'll be back — from open heart surgery.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is in stable condition recovering from a surprise open heart surgery that followed complications from a planned heart valve replacement.

The "Terminator" star and former California governor is in good spirits and his first words upon waking from surgery were "I'm back," according to his rep Daniel Ketchell.

In a statement, Ketchell said, "Yesterday, Governor Schwarzenegger underwent a planned procedure at Cedars-Sinai to replace a pulmonic valve that was originally replaced due to a congenital heart defect in 1997."

A team of doctors was prepared to perform the surgery in case the valve replacement did not work. This is the second time Schwarzenegger has had heart surgery; he had an aortic valve replaced in 1997, during which he also suffered complications and required a follow-up procedure.

Schwarzenegger received well wishes on Twitter from fans and friends, including "Terminator 2" co-star Robert Patrick.

Schwarzenegger, who did not fare well on his stint as "Celebrity Apprentice" replacement host for Donald Trump, continues to act. He appeared in "Terminator: Genisys" in 2015 and is set to reprise his famous role in the upcoming "Terminator" reboot.

'Dawson's Creek' Parents 'Hurt' They Weren't Invited to the Big Reunion

'Roseanne' Revival Renewed By ABC For Season 11

In completely unsurprising news, ABC is renewing the recently revived "Roseanne" for another season, its 11th.

The blue collar comedy debuted to whopping ratings earlier this week. Counting one day of delayed viewing, it drew 21.89 million viewers and an astonishing 6.24 rating among the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic.

"We're thrilled that America has welcomed the Conner family back into their homes," said Channing Dungey, ABC Entertainment president, in a statement. "The show is as fresh and relevant today as it was when it left the air 21 years ago. We can't wait to see what the Roseanne team has in store for next year."

The entire main cast, including Roseanne Barr, John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, Lecy Goranson and Michael Fishman, are expected to return. Other familiar faces like Estelle Parsons, Sandra Bernhard, and James Pickens Jr. will make guest appearances.

Sources say Season 11 will have 13 episodes versus this year's nine.

The success of the "Roseanne" revival is astonishing, especially when viewership has been declining for several years. The premiere was the highest-rated scripted broadcast of the season and the highest-rated sitcom in three years.

Colin Trevorrow Confirmed to Direct 'Jurassic World 3'

Colin Trevorrow is returning to direct the third film in the "Jurassic World" trilogy.

Executive producer Steven Spielberg, who directed the first "Jurassic Park" movie, confirmed the news to Entertainment Weekly.

"Colin Trevorrow is going write and direct the third 'Jurassic World' story," Spielberg said.

Trevorrow co-wrote and directed the first movie, which followed up on the events of the original trilogy. He also co-wrote the upcoming second film, "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom," which was helmed by J.A. Bayona and opens in theaters June 22.

For the third movie, he'll team up with Emily Carmichael ("Pacific Rim: Uprising") on the script and re-take the director's chair.

"It's important to this franchise that we welcome new creative voices to keep our storytelling fresh and alive," Trevorrow told EW. Watch 'Handsome, Muscular' Thor Meet the Guardians in Full 'Avengers: Infinity War' Clip

But watch fast in case it gets pulled.

Marvel aired this hilarious "Avengers: Infinity War" scene last week during the Kids Choice Awards. The footage was previously shown at the D23 Expo in summer 2017, but Marvel never shared the clip online.

Low-quality versions of the clip traveled the web, but ComicBook.com just posted a decent video for fans to watch before the movie opens on April 27.

The clip shows how Thor (Chris Hemsworth) ends up meeting Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) and the Guardians of the Galaxy. As usual, Drax (Dave Bautista) steals the whole thing.

Peter Quill/Star-Lord: "How is this dude still alive?"

Drax: "He is not a dude. You're a dude. This? This is a man. A handsome, muscular man."

Well, at least Drax doesn't think Thor is "hideous," unlike someone we know...

Check out the clip (if it's still up):Ah, jealous Star-Lord. This scene probably plays out just after Star-Lord tells Teen Groot to get off his device, and Groot back-talks him.

And check out the latest TV spot from Marvel itself, with a lot of recycled footage but a few new shots:Don't worry about all of the clips spoiling the movie; "Infinity War" is long enough and has enough going on that they are surely saving some major surprises for the theatrical release.

"Avengers 3" opens Friday, April 27.

John Krasinski & Emily Blunt's Horror 'A Quiet Place' Has 100 Percent Fresh Rating

Shhhhhhh. Don't make any sudden moves to disturb the critics or they might break this streak.

We're always rooting for John Krasinski and Emily Blunt -- who happen to be married, but we love them separately too. So we were already rooting for the horror thriller "A Quiet Place" to succeed.

Krasinski directed the movie, and he and Blunt play husband-and-wife on screen as well -- parents to two children, played by Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe (shown above). They also have two kids in real life. Thankfully, everything else is fiction.

So far, critics definitely approve of their movie. One week out, "A Quiet Place" has a 100 percent fresh rating from 33 critics on Rotten Tomatoes, with an average rating of 8.3/10. That's not bad at all. The Metascore at this point is 79, based on 14 critics.

It's definitely possible that the scores will go down, but the critical praise so far is effusive enough to suggest director Krasinski has a winner on his hands:

• "Directed with first-rate visual flair by John Krasinski (who knew?), this riveting near-silent thriller exudes the despair of a broken world with the concision of a Cormac McCarthy novel folded into a simplistic B-movie premise." - IndieWire

• "Even moviegoers who don't accept the metaphor are going to have the pants scared off them." - Hollywood Reporter

• "It's not just an intelligent horror film, but a movie that is capable of scaring even the most experienced of horror fans with staggering ease." - Den of Geek

• "A bravura monster movie which just doesn't let up, ratcheting tension with nary a word uttered on screen." - Empire Magazine

• "When A Quiet Place has one finger on the panic button and the other on mute, it's a nervy, terrifying thrill." -- Entertainment Weekly

• "A tight thrill ride-the kind of movie that quickens the heart rate and plays with the expectations of the audience, while never treating them like idiots. In other words, it's a really good horror movie." - RogerEbert.com

In a talk with USA Today, Emily Blunt agreed that, underneath the horror, "A Quiet Place" is really a family movie:

"Yeah, it is. I think that's what was appealing. This is a metaphor for parenthood in many ways. The dread that most parents feel sending their kids out into this incredibly brutal, fragile world that we're in right now. Obviously 'A Quiet Place' is like the magnified version of that. But at the root of it, this is about a family that need to communicate more than most families and they can't. There's an agony in that, an agony in living silently, and the dynamics are something that John and I really understood — the need and desire to protect your children is something that we just understood in spades and were obviously very aligned in because we parent the same children. In the same way 'Jaws' is not really about the shark, it's about the men and what they have to overcome, this is sort of his homage to that."

"A Quiet Place" opens in theaters next Friday, April 6.

'Suits' Finale Wedding Photos Show Meghan Markle as Bride

Meghan Markle is going to have so much practice as a bride before her big day with Prince Harry.

She was already married once before, and she'll be getting married again on TV in late April during the "Suits" Season 7 finale.

Both Meghan Markle (Rachel) and Patrick J. Adams (Mike) are leaving after this season, and their wedding will play out over the two-hour season finale.

Series creator Aaron Korsh teased the pair's happy ending to Entertainment Weekly:

"I was pretty happy with that because I know we do a lot of bittersweet things on the show, and it just felt good to give them a really good send-off."

EW shared photos from the big wedding, which airs April 25 on the USA Network.

Of course, they only showed part of Rachel's wedding look -- we don't even get to see her face -- so you have to watch the episode for the full reveal:

Deadpool Takes Over 'Avengers: Infinity War' Trailer in Glorious Mashup

Has Ryan Reynolds seen this? It's perfectly balanced ... just like Deadpool's testicles.

What the world needs now is a team-up between spring 2018's major superhero films: "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Deadpool 2."

YouTuber Mightyraccoon! stepped into the void with the video "Infinity War trailer but everybody is DEADPOOL" -- which is exactly how it sounds. They basically took the second "Infinity War" trailer and added Deadpool (voiced by David Near), then replaced everyone else with Deadpool.

When Deadpool complains that Thanos (played by Josh Brolin, who also plays Cable in "Deadpool 2" -- synergy!) looks like a "purple Homer Simpson," he decides he'll be Thanos from now on.

"When I'm done, half of the superheroes will cease to exist. Well, except for Wolverine. I love Hugh Jackman."

Who doesn't?

Watch the trailer below. Warning: Very NSFW!Love it. If/when the Disney/Fox deal goes through, Deadpool will be part of the same family as the Marvel Avengers. So you could consider this trailer a trial run for how the Merc with a Mouth might fit in with the MCU gang.

"Avengers: Infinity War" opens in theaters April 27. "Deadpool 2" opens May 18.

'Jersey Shore Family Vacation' Trailer Shows 'Not Much Has Changed'

It's Jerzday again, so MTV has a new "Jersey Shore Family Vacation" preview for us.

The network released its latest trailer on Thursday, and the video is full of gang's latest shenanigans. It has been almost six years since the original reality show last aired, but as the saying goes, old habits die hard. As Vinny Guadagnino puts it, "Not much has changed."

The trailer shows the "Jersey Shore" cast -- except for Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola -- reunited in Miami, where they get wild in their house, around town, in clubs, in pools, and, well, pretty much everywhere. Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWoww" Farley are parents now, but that doesn't stop them from binge-drinking and bickering. Meanwhile, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has a very pregnant girlfriend, but he seems to be blurring the lines with other women. And those are only a couple of the storylines.

"I'm 100 percent positive that this is going to be the wildest vacation we ever had," Polizzi says at one point.

Watch below for a sneak peak of what goes down in Miami.

"Jersey Shore Family Vacation" premieres April 5 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.

'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' Blooper Reel Shows Carrie Fisher Repeatedly Slapping Oscar Isaac

We always appreciate a good blooper reel, and "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" has one.

The silly outtake video was unveiled Wednesday, in coordination with the release of the film on Blu-ray and DVD. It features funny moments involving numerous "Episode VIII" stars, but a scene featuring the late Carrie Fisher as General Leia Organa is the most prominent among them. For the first 35 seconds of the blooper reel, we see her soundly slapping Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) just before demoting him. Poor Isaac is shown being hit in the face at least 40 times in that short span, all while Fisher maintains an absolutely straight face.

Although the slap outtakes fill the bulk of the blooper reel, there are other ones worth watching as well. The stars of the film make some of the strangest and most entertaining faces, and John Boyega shows how seamlessly he slips between accents.

Watch the gag reel below.

John Cena Is Interested in Role in Fast & Furious Film or Dwayne Johnson's Spinoff

Former Wrestlemania rivals John Cena and Dwayne Johnson haven't starred in a film together yet, but it sounds like Cena has already thought of the perfect vehicle.

The actor recently chatted with EW and said that he'd be interested in joining Johnson in a Fast and Furious movie or the planned spinoff, "Hobbs and Shaw." He explained that he thinks he and The Rock have solid chemistry "in the live performance setting," so his fellow WWE vet is one of the few actors on his co-star "wish list."

"That stuff is beyond my control, but I would absolutely love that opportunity," Cena said of joining Johnson in the popular franchise. "That, for me, would be a dream."

The two action stars have engaged in trash talk over the years, and they took it pretty far. At one point, for instance, Johnson claimed he had slept with Cena's mom. Oddly, The Rock managed to do it "in such a way that he made it cool," Cena told James Corden on "The Late Late Show" in May 2016. In spite of it all, Cena doesn't seem to have any hard feelings. He has expressed his gratitude for Johnson, as he feels the actor opened doors for other WWE stars.

"I'm very thankful to Dwayne Johnson," Cena said in a Sports Illustrated interview in February 2017. "His success has gotten me a lot of opportunities that I'm extremely thankful for, and certainly wouldn't have without him."

"Hobbs and Shaw" is coming up in 2019, and then "Fast & Furious 9" will follow in 2020. Surely, it's not too late to get Cena in one of them.

'Scandal' Cast Talks Happy Endings, Fan Support in Retrospective Video

The "Scandal" cast has already filmed the series finale, and the goodbye process is well underway.

ABC kept the emotional experience going on Wednesday when it released a retrospective. The video looks back at the drama's seven seasons and, of course, heightens all the sentiments fans are already coping with as we approach the end of the series.

"There's not a single feeling I haven't had about the show ending," Kerry Washington, who plays Olivia, says in the video.

"I think I'm sort of in denial about the final day on set," Tony Goldwyn (Fitz) adds, presumably in an interview filmed before production wrapped.

What's really special in the retrospective is how it highlights the cast's bond and their gratitude for their fans. It's clear that they credit their Gladiators for keeping the show going for so long. If you've stuck with "Scandal" over the years, you definitely have their thanks.

And don't think this video overlooks our questions about how the series will conclude and whether or not we can expect happy endings. It might not offer answers, but it does tease different ways the finale could play out.

"I think Jake would like to be back on the island with Olivia," Scott Foley says of his character and Washington's.

"No," Goldwyn, who plays Jake's romantic rival, says. "I think Olivia's one true love is Fitz."

Watch the moving retrospective below.

"Scandal" airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC, with the finale set for April 19.

Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston Reuniting For Netflix Comedy 'Murder Mystery'

Jennifer Aniston Honored On The Hollywood Walk Of FameAdam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston are just going with it to Netflix.

The stars, who last worked together in 2011's "Just Go With It," are reuniting for "Murder Mystery," a comedy that will stream on Netflix. Sandler renewed his four-picture deal with the streaming service last year.

The movie centers on a New York City cop who takes his wife on a long-promised European vacation. On the flight, they snag an invite to an intimate family gathering on the yacht of elderly billionaire Malcolm Quince. Then, Quince is murdered and the couple becomes the prime suspects.

The project marks Sandler's sixth under the terms of his deals with Netflix. He most recently starred in Noah Baumbach's The Meyerowitz Stories and can next be seen in "The Week Of" opposite Chris Rock on April 27.

John Mulaney to Host 'Saturday Night Live' For First Time

11th Annual Stand Up for HeroesCalling Stefon's lawyer!

John Mulaney is set to host "Saturday Night Live" for the first time on April 14 with musical guest Jack White.

Mulaney was a writer on "SNL" from 2008 to 2014 and famously co-created the character Stefon with Bill Hader. And Mulaney recently made a cameo on the show when Hader hosted and played Stefon's lawyer, Shy.

Mulaney left "SNL" to star in his own eponymous sitcom on Fox, which received poor reviews and was canceled swiftly. Since then, Mulaney has starred in a well-received standup special on Netflix, "The Comeback Kid," for which was nominated for an Emmy for writing. He starred in the hit Broadway show "Oh, Hello." And he's done well in his recent nationwide tour, "Kid Gorgeous," which included seven shows at Radio City Music Hall in New York. One of those was filmed and will stream May 1 on Netflix.

Cameron Diaz Says She's 'Actually Retired' During 'Sweetest Thing' Reunion

Because Age Is A State Of Mind: Cameron Diaz Joins MPTF To Celebrate Health And FitnessHas Cameron Diaz retired from acting? According to the actress herself, yes.

Diaz reunited with "The Sweetest Thing" co-stars Christina Applegate and Selma Blair for an interview with Entertainment Weekly. When asked if they had gotten together since the 2002 movie, the three actresses admitted they had not and suggested they should do so.

"Maybe I should, you know, I mean, I'm down. I'm literally doing nothing," Diaz said.

Applegate replied, "I'm literally doing nothing, too! I'm semi-retired, I haven't worked for years."

Then Diaz said, "I'm semi-retired, too, and I am actually retired, so I would love to see you ladies."

Now, Applegate is fudging with her semi-retirement, since she's appeared in "Bad Moms," "A Bad Moms Christmas," "Crash Pad," and "Youth in Oregon" in the last two years. But Diaz hasn't done a movie since 2014's "Annie."

Diaz's career status came up earlier this month when Blair revealed that a "Sweetest Thing" sequel was unlikely since her co-star had retired. "She's like, 'I'm done,'" Blair told Metro News. But when that comment sparked a lot of conversation, Blair walked her statement back:

Seems like it wasn't a joke after all.

Diaz's retirement was cemented by an article in People in which a source said the star was focusing on married life with Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden.

"I can't say whether or not she will go back to being a full-time actress, but for now she has other interests, causes she believes in, and time to pursue them," the source said. "Cameron has made a wonderful life for herself. Marriage agrees with her."

Affleck's response? A big shrug.

The article has prompted support for Affleck, with people on Twitter taking the New Yorker to task for body shaming.

No one other than Matt Damon is defending the tattoo, though.

'First Reformed' Trailer Leads Ethan Hawke's Priest to Lose Faith

"I know there is no hope," Ethan Hawke's priest says glumly in the trailer for "First Reformed."

Reverend Ernst Toller is suffering a crisis of faith in the movie from director Paul Schrader. "First Reformed" is described by distributor A24 as "the unholy lovechild of 'A Ghost Story' and 'Taxi Driver,'" the latter of which was also written by Schrader.

Toller grimly watches as his small upstate New York church's congregation dwindles and the world around him grows increasingly chaotic. Then a pregnant parishioner (Amanda Seyfried) asks for his help with her radical environmentalist husband and the priest finds himself confronting past demons and gaining redemption from an act of violence.

The trailer looks like a return to form for Schrader, the kind of dark, melancholic struggle within the soul that we saw his write or co-write in "Taxi Driver" and "Raging Bull." And Hawke's searing performance could put him into awards conversations later in the year.

"First Reformed" opens in theaters May 18.

She plays an unhinged woman who delights in killing. "I have an unquenchable bloodlust for darkness," she purrs at Simon Pegg.

The trailer doesn't reveal much in the way of plot. There are two assassins (Mac Irons and Dexter Fletcher), a subway janitor (an unrecognizable Mike Myers in prosthetics), and Pegg as a seemingly normal guy caught up in the London underworld.

Directed by Vaughn Stein, the movie looks incredibly stylish, all dark shadows and bright neon (think Nicolas Winding Refn). Robbie appears to have a blast chewing scenery and camping it up. And since it's impossible to tell what the story is, here's the official synopsis:

In the dark heart of a sprawling, anonymous city, Terminal follows the twisting tales of two assassins carrying out a sinister mission, a teacher battling a fatal illness, an enigmatic janitor and a curious waitress leading a dangerous double life. Murderous consequences unravel in the dead of night as their lives all intertwine at the hands of a mysterious criminal mastermind hell-bent on revenge

"Terminal" opens in theaters May 11.

The 'Grey's Anatomy' Season 14 Finale Will Be 'Very Celebratory'

How will "Grey's Anatomy" Season 14 be able to balance losing two major characters while still ending on a "celebratory" note?

Season 14 is only up to Episode 17 at this point, directed by Kevin McKidd, who also plays Dr. Owen Hunt.

McKidd talked to The Hollywood Reporter about "Grey's" -- not mentioning the big exits -- and they asked him for a word or phrase to tease the Episode 24 season finale.

Here's what he came up with:

"The word or phrase I would say ... You know this show is 14 seasons, it's a complete miracle. Very rarely do shows go for 14 seasons. It's a thing to be celebrated so I would say our finale is going to be, in a sense, very celebratory. That's your word: Celebratory."

McKidd also talked about his experience as a director on the show, saying the March 29 episode was special to him because there were only a couple of storylines to follow, so he got to really "direct" more.

He said his favorite moment on the set this year happened when taping the March 29 episode, while Dr. April Kepner (Sarah Drew) was having a deep talk with a dying rabbi (Saul Rubinek).

McKidd said they basically shot that scene like a one-act play, with three cameras, to let the actors do their thing for "12 minutes of uninterrupted focus on just acting." McKidd said he was "blown away" by guest actor Saul Rubinek for being so generous and helping Sarah Drew get to where she could be to cry and be so vulnerable for those full 12 minutes.

Sarah Drew, though -- she deserves an Emmy nomination for this season. Make it happen.

GREY'S ANATOMY - "Hold Back the River" - Amelia, Koracick and DeLuca perform a risky, groundbreaking procedure using ultrasound waves to remove a young patient's brain tumor. Meanwhile, Meredith and Jo work with different polymers to try to salvage their project submission; and Richard's AA sponsor is admitted to Grey Sloan with a DNR, on "Grey's Anatomy," THURSDAY, APRIL 5 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network. (ABC/Kelsey McNeal)KEVIN MCKIDD, CATERINA SCORSONEAlso, THR asked McKidd what he'd do if he could use the "Grey's" set after hours for his own movie. He turned back to his "Dog Soldiers" indie horror roots and said he'd make a comedy-horror set in a hospital. (We'd watch the heck out of that -- someone give him the budget and set him loose!)

Here's what's coming next on "Grey's Anatomy," with more potential hints on how we may say goodbye to April:

Episode 18: "Hold Back the River," April 5 – Amelia, Koracick and DeLuca perform a risky, groundbreaking procedure using ultrasound waves to remove a young patient's brain tumor. Meanwhile, Meredith and Jo work with different polymers to try to salvage their project submission; and Richard's AA sponsor is admitted to Grey Sloan with a DNR, on "Grey's Anatomy," THURSDAY, APRIL 5 (8:00–9:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.

Guest starring are Jason George as Ben Warren, Greg Germann as Tom Koracick, Jeanine Jason as Sam Bello, Alex Blue Davis as Casey Parker, Jake Borelli as Levi Schmitt and Jaicy Elliot as Taryn Helm.

"Hold Back the River" was written by Alex Manugian and directed by Geary McLeod.

Episode 19: "Beautiful Dreamer," April 12 - An agent from ICE shows up at Grey Sloan in search of an employee who may be working in the U.S. under DACA. Alex's patient Kimmie wants to leave the hospital to enjoy her final days, but Alex feels differently. Meanwhile, Arizona treats Matthew Taylor's baby and April wants to do whatever she can to help.

The 'Westworld' Season 2 Official Trailer Is a Reckoning Set to Nirvana

Unfreeze all motor functions and watch the Shogun World out of the "Westworld" Season 2 trailer.

HBO just released the official trailer for Season 2, which (finally!) premieres April 22. The Super Bowl ad shared back in February was just that -- a Season 2 ad specifically created to air during the game. This is different. And it looks like EVERYTHING to us.

It looks like "a reckoning."

It also looks like Maeve (Thandie Newton) gets to go to the new park, Shogun World.

"Westworld" always has the best music adaptations, and yes that's genius composer Ramin Djawadi's version of Nirvana's "Heart-Shaped Box."

"Westworld," loosely adapted from Michael Crichton's 1973 movie, launched with 10 episodes in 2016, then took 2017 off to film Season 2. Season 1 followed The Maze, with Season 2's "title" said to be The Door.

"Westworld" stars the amazing cast of Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Ed Harris, Jimmi Simpson, James Marsden, Tessa Thompson, Angela Sarafyan, Luke Hemsworth, Talulah Riley, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Louis Herthum, Simon Quarterman, and Rodrigo Santoro. Season 2 adds new faces, including Gustaf Skarsgard, Fares Fares, Neil Jackson, and Katja Herbers.

"Westworld" Season 2 premieres Sunday, April 22 on HBO.

'Wonder Woman 2' Casts 'Game of Thrones' Alum in Key Role

Loving the "Wonder Woman" sequel cast so far.

According to Variety, Pedro Pascal has landed a "key" and "pivotal" role in "Wonder Woman 2," which is currently scheduled for release in November 2019.

That's it. No further details have been shared on the role at this point.

Pascal developed a huge fan base as Oberynn Martell on HBO's "Game of Thrones," and went on to more success as DEA agent Javier Peña on Netflix's "Narcos." You may also remember him from episodes of "The Good Wife," "Graceland," or "The Mentalist." Or maybe the films "The Great Wall" and "Kingsman: The Golden Circle." He'll next be seen in "The Equalizer 2," opening July 20th.

'Kingsman: El Circulo De Oro' Madrid PhotocallVariety reports that this will be a repeat team-up for Pascal and director Patty Jenkins, since they worked together on the TV pilot "Exposed."

We know "Wonder Woman" star Gal Gadot is returning, and the only other sequel casting revealed so far is Kristen Wiig as the villain Cheetah. Stay tuned for more details on Pascal's role, as well as the plot of the second movie.

DC/Warner Bros. will release "Wonder Woman 2" in theaters on November 1st, 2019.

'The Originals' Season 5 Premiere Photos Finally Show Klaroline Reunion

Ah, yes. Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) and Caroline Forbes (Candice King) still have that spark ... even with bloody dead bodies all around them.

"The Originals" Season 5 is the final season, and its 13 episodes premiere April 20 on The CW.

A trailer for the final season recently came out, and had no scenes between Klaus and Caroline. Klaroline shippers were not happy -- since The Powers That Be had heavily teased "The Vampire Diaries" character Caroline's crossover storyline for the spinoff. So where was she?

Well, she's here now! And it already looks complicated.

The CW just released photos from the Season 5 premiere, "Where You Left Your Heart."

We see Klaroline together, and we can already feel their chemistry coming through, even amid a bloodbath. Klaus did tell Caroline he intended to be her last love -- however long it takes -- but it may take longer than this meeting, since it's not exactly a romantic setting. Caroline does not look like she approves. She probably doesn't appreciate when he puts his bloody hands on her blazer either. Then again, she might not mind him touching her...

Anyway, Caroline is meant to be something of a mentor to Klaus in Season 5, since he's still struggling with the concept of being a father.

The Season 5 premiere photos also show a now teenage Hope (Danielle Rose Russell), newcomer Roman (played by Jedediah Goodacre), Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), and Marcel (Charles Michael Davis).

Check out the pics:

"The Originals" Season 5 premiere airs Friday, April 20 at 9 p.m. on The CW.

'Sharknado 6' Will Be the Final Film, With a Time Travel Theme

Shark to the future! Or at least the past.

According to TVLine, Syfy will give fans the sixth and final "Sharknado" movie this summer. The title and release date haven't been announced yet. But we do know there will be a time travel plot to "Sharknado 6" -- which makes sense considering "Sharknado 5: Global Swarming."

In No. 5, Fin (Ian Ziering) saw the world around him destroyed. How do you make a movie after that? You go for the time travel trick, of course! So that's what's up in No. 6 -- he has to go back in time to try and stop the Sharknado that started it all. Fans can probably expect a lot of callbacks to the early films, which should make for a fun drinking game. (Is there any other way to watch?)

TVLinen says "Sharknado 6" will bring back Tara Reid, Cassie Scerbo, and Vivica A. Fox, with franchise director Anthony C. Ferrante also returning. More celeb-ish guest star cameos are also expected.

The first "Sharknado" came out in 2013, followed by "Sharknado 2: The Second One," "Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!," "Sharknado: The 4th Awakens," and "Sharknado 5: Global Swarming."

What do you think they should title No. 6 -- "The Last One (Until a Reboot)"? "Back to the Water"?

Jeff Goldblum Dropped More Cryptic 'Jurassic World' Comments on 'Watch What Happens Live'

Jack Johnson says maybe "pretty much always means no," but with Jeff Goldblum, we hope it means yes.

The Jurassic Park franchise star is reprising his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm in the upcoming "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom," and it sounds like he could possibly appear in its sequel as well. Goldblum discussed the franchise while a guest on "Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen," and he was all kinds of cryptic.

A fan had called in to ask the actor about his comments regarding Laura Dern returning to the franchise, and Goldblum wholeheartedly embraced the word "maybe."

"Maybe I said too much," he said. I don't know for sure. ... I can't divulge anything. But maybe, maybe, maybe she will."

That's four maybes total, and we very much hope they add up to a yes. Goldblum kept our hopes up by highlighting that there are already plans for "Jurassic World 3."

"Some people may or may not be in it," he said. "That's all I can say."

Very interesting. For now, we'll look forward to seeing the actor in "Fallen Kingdom." As we've seen in trailers and as Goldblum mentioned, Ian will testify in front of the Senate about dinosaurs.

Watch the actor's many "maybes" below.

"Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" opens June 22.

'The Crown' Finds New Prince Philip in Tobias Menzies

It's time for another coronation.

"The Crown" is aging its characters up, and the Netflix historical drama series has found a replacement for Matt Smith. Actor Tobias Menzies will take up the baton as Prince Philip, Variety reports. He'll star opposite Olivia Colman, who is taking over from Claire Foy as Queen Elizabeth II.

The first two seasons of the show chronicled the early years of the queen's reign, including the beginning of her relationship with Prince Philip. We'll continue to follow the royals with the new stars. Menzies has signed on for Seasons 3 and 4, stepping in after Paul Bettany reportedly had to withdraw from consideration because of scheduling conflicts.

We don't know how much Menzies will make in the role, but we can safely say it will be less than what Colman gets. A controversy erupted when it recently came out that Smith received a higher salary than Foy. Many felt was unfair considering that the actress plays the central character and has received two SAG Awards and a Golden Globe, plus several other nominations for her work on the show. The studio behind the series, Left Bank Pictures, has since apologized to the actors and promised that in the future "no one gets paid more than the Queen."

"The Crown" Season 3 is expected to premiere in 2019.

'Dawson's Creek' Creator Reveals Katherine Heigl Was in Contention to Play Jen

Katherine Heigl's breakout TV role came on "Roswell," but had things gone differently, it could have been "Dawson's Creek."

Now that the classic WB teen drama has reached its 20th anniversary, the cast and creator Kevin Williamson have been celebrating. They spoke recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly, and Williamson had some intriguing "Dawson's Creek" history gems to share, particularly in regard to casting. It turns out Heigl was in serious consideration to take the role of Jen before it ultimately went to Michelle Williams.

Steve Miner, who directed the pilot episode, had previously worked with Heigl on the film "My Father the Hero," so he had her audition for a part. She did, and it was "a great audition," according to Williamson.

"I remember we were all sort of like, 'Wow, she's good,'" he said.

He didn't lay out exactly what made them cast Williams over Heigl, but he did say that Williams "came across as an angel," which apparently fit what they wanted.

It all worked out for Heigl in the end, of course. She played Isabel on "Roswell" for multiple seasons and later had enormous success as Izzie on "Grey's Anatomy." Her list of film credits includes "Knocked Up," "Unforgettable," and more, and she has recently joined "Suits" as a series regular.

Even James Van Der Beek Admits He's Team Pacey During 'Dawson's Creek' Reunion

Team Dawson vs. Team Pacey was the war that launched a thousand (million?) 'ships. "Dawson's Creek" ended its six-season run in 2003 with a definitive answer as to which man Joey Potter (Katie Holmes) would pick, but fans have continued to fight for their respective teams.

But one of the triangle members in question, Dawson himself, James Van Der Beek, has chosen a surprising side.

Entertainment Weekly got the cast together for a reunion celebrating the show's 20th anniversary and in a video interview, Van Der Beek said he's on Team Pacey (Joshua Jackson).

"It felt right to me," Van Der Beek said of Joey and Pacey's happy ending. "It seemed like it made more sense."

As for the other triangle members, Jackson sided with his character "Of course I did! My vanity knows no bounds," he joked.

Holmes just was grateful she didn't have to choose herself. "I'm glad that Kevin [Williamson, the creator] had to make the decision and we didn't," she said diplomatically.

See gorgeous reunion pics here.

Noah Hawley Says 'Fargo' Season 4 Is 'Long Shot' For 2019

FARGO -- “The Narrow Escape Problem” – Year 3, Episode 4 (Airs May 10, 10:00 pm e/p) Pictured (l-r): Ewan McGregor as Ray Stussy. CR: Chris Large/FXWinter is coming ... but not soon enough for "Fargo" fans waiting for Season 4.

While FX has yet to officially order a fourth season of the acclaimed anthology drama, creator Noah Hawley and FX CEO John Landgraf have both talked about it like a sure thing.

The only downside is that Hawley doesn't expect Season 4 to be ready anytime soon— because filming needs to take place in winter.

"I have to write [the episodes], then we have to prep it, then we have to film it, which means it's either this coming winter or next winter," he told The Wrap.

"Given my schedule with making a movie and posting a movie this summer, and then gearing up to do more 'Legion,' assuming we get a pickup. It seems like a long shot that I can launch 'Fargo' 4 this winter."

Hawley does have a lot of projects on his plate. His other FX series, the "X-Men"-related "Legion," debuts its second season on April 3. He's also working on an adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut's "Cat's Cradle" for the network.

On the movie side, he's developing a "Doctor Doom" movie, based on the "Fantastic Four" uber-villain, and the Natalie Portman astronaut film "Pale Blue Dot."

Still, Hawley's got plans for "Fargo" Season 4. While he hasn't divulged many details, he has previously said that it will take place before Season, so sometime before 1979.

"It will always be a complicated story with a lot of moving pieces," he said.
