George Lucas and the Cast Preview 'Strange Magic' (EXCLUSIVE)

It's good to be weird. That's the message of the delightfully kooky animated movie, "Strange Magic." The film's story originates from "Star Wars" king George Lucas, who wanted to tell a different kind of fairy tale than what we usually see on the big screen.

Strange Magic - Featurette - Exclusive

In this exclusive featurette, Lucas, director Gary Rydstrom, and stars Alan Cumming, Evan Rachel Wood, and Elijah Kelley explain what "Strange Magic" is all about.

"You can be unique and weird and find love in unexpected places," Wood says. She voices a "fiery fairy" named Marianne who falls for Cummings' Bog King -- the last person she would've expected.

The movie features over a dozen songs, hand-picked by Lucas, including classics like "Can't Help Falling in Love," "Three Little Birds," and the titular tune.

"The point of the movie is that everyone deserves to be loved," Lucas says.

"Strange Magic" hits theaters Friday, January 23.
