Harrison Ford Excited to Play Indiana Jones Again, Argued For Han Solo's Fate

BRITAIN-US-ENTERTAINMENT-FILM-STARWARSHarrison Ford definitely plays favorites when it comes to his characters.

On "Jimmy Kimmel Live," Ford talked about two of his most iconic characters — Han Solo from "Star Wars" and Indiana Jones" — and revealed he's happy to revive one and put the other to the grave.

As we saw in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" (SPOILER ALERT), Han Solo died at the hands of his son, Kylo Ren. Ford first joked that it was "shocking" to be "just let go" after 30 years of playing the character, but in reality, he approved of Han's death.

"I argued for 30 years for this to happen, and finally I wore 'em down," he said.

As for Indiana Jones, Ford can't wait to make a fifth movie as the fedora-wearing, whip-bearing archaeologist. It will be directed by Steven Spielberg and is set for release in July 2019.

"It's fun. It's great fun to play this character," he said. "It's great fun to work with Steven. I'm looking forward to it."
