Here Are 'Game of Thrones' Season 7, Episode 2, 'Stormborn' Photos

The ultimate storm is coming!

HBO released images from "Game of Thrones" Season 7, Episode 2, titled "Stormborn." That refers to Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), a nickname she earned when she was born on Dragonstone during a raging storm.

Here's the episode's official synopsis:

Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) receives an unexpected visitor. Jon (Kit Harington) faces a revolt. Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) plans the conquest of Westeros. Written for television by Bryan Cogman; directed by Mark Mylod.

The image above was already released ahead of Season 7 and depicts Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham) riding horses as they leave Winterfell. Maybe they received word that Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) is at Castle Black and Jon is going to fetch him. Or they could be riding to another fortress to start preparing for the Night King and his horde of White Walkers.

In the next photo, Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) gazes pensively down into the courtyard at Winterfell, perhaps watching Jon leave. She's still rocking that new hairdo that reminds us of Cersei Lannister.

The next two pics show Jon and Littlefinger (Aiden Gillen) in the crypts of Winterfell. And Jon does not look pleased. What is Lord Baelish up to now?

While two Starks are safe at Winterfell, and Bran is at Castle Black, Arya (Maisie Williams) is still on her journey to King's Landing. Here, she seems to be stopping at an inn. Please say it's the Inn at the Crossroads and she reunites with Hot Pie.

Over in Oldtown, Sam (John Bradley) is still toiling away as an apprentice in the Citadel, carrying books for Archmaester Ebrose (Jim Broadbent).

And finally, the subject of the episode's title — Daenerys looks over that giant map in Dragonstone with Hand of the Queen Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), Yara Greyjoy (Gemma Whelan), and — surprise! — Ellaria Sand (Indira Varma), who has come from Dorne.

"Game of Thrones" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on HBO.
