Melissa McCarthy may look sweet and cuddly, but her enemies won't know what hit 'em in the upcoming comedy "Spy."
There's a new trailer for the movie, which teams up McCarthy with her "Bridesmaids" and "The Heat" director Paul Feig. McCarthy is a behind-the-scenes analyst who supports her dashing, James Bond-like fellow agents (Jude Law and Jason Statham). But when their covers are blown, McCarthy has to step in - posing as a divorced housewife from Iowa - and go mano a mano with enemy agent Rose Byrne.
"Spy" looks to have the same blend of goofy hijinks and crimefighting as "The Heat," so undoubtedly it'll be a big hit. The movie also stars Allison Janney, Bobby Cannavale, and Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, and opens in theaters May 22.
