'A Beautiful Planet' Trailer: Jennifer Lawrence Narrates Epic Space Documentary

Sometimes it seems like we humans do nothing but fight, and we're destroying ourselves and our planet. Maybe we just need to step back -- waaaay back -- for a different perspective on the big picture. "A Beautiful Planet," a new documentary from IMAX and NASA, narrated by Jennifer Lawrence, takes us onto the International Space to hang out -- float out? -- with a crew of astronauts around the world, and see our impact on the environment from the unique vantage point of space.

Astronaut 1: "The best part about being an astronaut is looking back at our home planet -- especially at night, the cities are so bright and so vibrant and so colorful."

Astronaut 2: "It is just overwhelmingly beautiful."

It is truly beautiful. The trailer. Our planet from space. And the way people from different backgrounds can get along when we need to work together to solve problems. (Kumbayaaaa...)


The only downside, in a way, is that "A Beautiful Planet" is showing exclusively in IMAX and IMAX 3D theaters, starting April 29. IMAX will make these visuals even more spectacular, but not everyone has access to an IMAX theater, so it's a little bit limiting. But maybe it's worth a special trip?
