Mischa Barton, Marla Maples Said to Join 'Dancing With the Stars' Cast

Long time no see, Mischa Barton. The now 30-year-old actress -- best known as Marissa Cooper on "The O.C." in the early '00s -- is returning to TV to compete on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" Season 22, which premieres Monday, March 21.

That's the scoop from Entertainment Tonight and Us Weekly. It was previously revealed that "Fuller House" star Jodie Sweetin would compete (she has since been confirmed by ABC), and that "The Facts of Life" alum Kim Fields and ANTM hunk Nyle DiMarco would also be on the spring 2016 season.

ET said Mischa will be dancing with pro Artem Chigvintsev. Jodie Sweetin has already been revealed as dancing with Keo Motsepe. ET also said "Good Morning America" anchor Ginger Zee will be on the spring season, dancing with Val Chmerkovskiy.
According to PureDWTS, Marla Maples (!) yes, Donald Trump's ex, will be dancing this season as well. @DWTSGossip listed her with pro Tony Dovolani. They also have MMA fighter Paige VanZant paired with Mark Ballas. Nyle is meant to be dancing with Peta Murgatroyd. NFL player Antonio Brown is said to be dancing with Sharna Burgess, and NFL-er Von Miller is said to be paired with Witney Carson.

Meanwhile, there will be several changes behind-the-scenes this season. Not only is Julianne Hough leaving as a judge, with Len Goodman taking his seat back, Derek Hough is also exiting for a Broadway gig. This will be the first Hough-free season since Season 12. But the great Edyta Sliwinska is returning as a pro, after competing in the first 10 seasons, and @DWTSGossip said Sasha Farber is also returning as a pro, after competing with Snooki and stealing scenes as a member of the pro troupe.

The full cast will be revealed this Tuesday, March 8 on GMA.
