Watch David Harbour Do His 'Stranger Things' Hopper Dance for (Unimpressed) Penguins

He really did it. "Stranger Things" star David Harbour really went to Antarctica with Greenpeace and danced with penguins.

His fans retweeted him onto the ice breaker ship as kind of a goofy gag. But when he got there, he revealed on social media, he didn't feel much like dancing anymore. He was "humbled" by the experience and the real-life conservation issues at stake.

But, as he put it, sometimes as an actor you have to do what you don't want to do. So he did his Chief Hopper dad dance for the cameras, as promised. He also seemed to scare away a few penguins in the process.

Watch his videos, they will make you smile and also maybe inspire you to get involved to help:

Fans appreciated the dancing, and the good cause:

Head here to support the Greenpeace petition. Watch Hopper dance in "Stranger Things" Season 2, now streaming on Netflix.
