Cannes 2014: Stars Dressed to the Nines on the Red Carpet (PHOTOS)

The 2014 Cannes Film Festival is now in full swing and that means some of the biggest international stars are out in style.



Perhaps the most prestigious film festival in the world, Cannes attracts the best filmmakers from around the globe and hosts an endless array of A-list actors and actresses. This year's most notable North American directors include David Cronenberg and Bennett Miller, who unveiled their long-awaited and star-studded films "Maps to the Stars" and "Foxcatcher," respectively, and Ryan Gosling, who makes his directorial debut with "Lost River."



The cache of stars strutting their stuff on the French red carpet, so far, include Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Lawrence, and Robert Pattinson -- just to name a few.
