Watch 'Supernatural' Star Jensen Ackles Sing 'Simple Man' at VanCon

"Supernatural" star Jensen Ackles has never met a classic rock cover he didn't like, and the actor continued his penchant for performing past hits this weekend while playing a Lynyrd Skynyrd song.

Ackles busted out the tune during a performance at VanCon -- a "Supernatural"-themed fan convention held in Vancouver, Canada -- on Saturday night, taking lead vocals and strumming an acoustic guitar as he sang "Simple Man." His raspy vocals fit the song perfectly, and the crowd clearly loved it, screaming as he took the stage and cheering throughout the performance.

As Entertainment Weekly notes, Ackles has performed another Skynyrd classic, "Sweet Home Alabama," publicly in the past, and a quick YouTube search of "Jensen Ackles singing" turns up plenty of results. (There's one way to liven up your Monday afternoon.)
