This Heinz Ketchup Super Bowl Ad Is Weiner Doggone Adorable

heinz, heinz ketchup, super bowl, super bowl commercial, super bowl ad, dachshunds, weiner dogsThe Super Bowl may still be days away, but Heinz may have already won, with a hilarious ad for its new line of ketchups that features what the company is calling a "weiner stampede" -- a.k.a. a bunch of adorable dachshunds dressed as hot dogs.

Set to the longing tune "Without You," the clip opens on a sprawling field where a cute, costumed pup bounds through tall grass. He's soon followed by dozens more dogs, each more squeal-inducingly cute than the last, whose floppy ears flail about as their tiny legs propel them forward.

Just what are they running to, exactly? A group of anthropomorphized ketchup bottles (and a teeny little tyke dressed like a single ketchup packet), who eagerly beckon the pups toward them. The clip ends with the dogs reaching the human-Heinz hybrids, who gleefully embrace the adorable dachshunds as the tiny dogs cover their faces with kisses.

"We tried to find something simple, visual and fun to communicate that hot dogs can't resist the great taste of Heinz," explained Anselmo Ramos, founder and chief creative officer of ad agency David, in an interview with AdWeek.

Looks like mission accomplished.
