Gwyneth Paltrow Might've Revealed a Major 'Avengers 4' Spoiler

SPOILERS AHEAD FROM INFINITY WAR & POTENTIALLY AVENGERS 4.

"Avengers: Infinity War" ended with Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) as one of the lucky ones. He was not vaporized. Neither, apparently, was Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow). Apparently they went on to have a child.

That's courtesy of Gwyneth Paltrow in an interview she gave to an "official" "Avengers: Infinity War" magazine.

The interview has Paltrow "reflect on a decade of Pepper Potts" and says nothing specifically about "Avengers 4."

But here's one section of her Q&A:

Whereabouts are Pepper and Tony in terms of their relationship now?
Pepper and Tony have had a real long journey together. She obviously starts as his dutiful assistant, and then the relationship evolves, and now this decade later they're married, and they have a child. Their relationship has evolved in all of the ways that great romances evolve."

Child?

The topic of kids came up in "Infinity War" -- Tony had a dream they had a child -- but they didn't have one yet. If true, it may be a spoiler for "Avengers 4." It may spoil a time jump after "Infinity War," with Tony and Pepper moving on from the 50 percent obliteration by Thanos. Or it may be a hint of a happy ending *after* some kind of solution in "Avengers 4."

Leaked set photos already hinted to a time travel element for "Avengers 4," sending Tony Stark and others back in time. But maybe that's why Tony is blond in the set photos, and appears to be the new director of S.H.I.E.L.D. -- that might be his from-the-not-so-distant-future look.

Remember that Doctor Strange said he analyzed 14 million scenarios and there was one where the Avengers won. We have to be in that "end game" now. Captain Marvel has to be involved in some way, since Nick Fury reached out to her in the post-credits scene, before he was vaporized. Maybe the TIme Stone also comes back into play?

Here are the sources for the Paltrow quote:

This is the magazine the fan said she was quoting, after buying it at a Publix in Florida. Did Marvel make an oops to release it too soon, or what?

"Avengers 4" opens May 3, 2019.
