Robert Downey Jr. Tweets First Photo From 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' Set

Iron Man is back.

That's the word from actor Robert Downey Jr., who tweeted his first photo from the set of "Avengers: Age of Ultron" Tuesday. And while the photo doesn't show much -- just Downey posing with "Avengers" executive producer Jeremy Latcham -- it doesn't really have to; fans that are eager for news, any news, about the follow-up to 2012's "The Avengers" should be happy to know that the gang is once again back together.

It doesn't appear that Downey is in costume (unless Iron Man is favoring reflective neon yellow vests these days), but his arched eyebrows show he's definitely jumped back into Tony Stark mode. And the star's willingness to reveal behind-the-scenes moments like this one certainly bodes well for potential future glimpses of his many co-stars, including Scarlett Johannson, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Cobie Smulders, and James Spader.

The film is set to shoot in a number of exotic locales, including Seoul, South Korea; Johannesburg, South Africa; and Aosta Valley, Italy. Principal photography is taking place in London (the likely -- though unconfirmed -- location of RDJ's snapshot).

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" hits theaters May 1, 2015.
