"Gossip Girl" alum Leighton Meester will be welcoming a girl (or boy) of her own soon: The actress is pregnant with her first child with husband Adam Brody.
Celeb site PopSugar posted photos of the pregnant star strolling around Los Angeles this week with a visible baby bump, confirming recent rumors that she and Brody (forever known as "The O.C." heartthrob Seth Cohen in our hearts) were expecting. The pair married in a hush-hush ceremony in February 2014, and have kept a relatively low profile ever since.
Meester seemed ready for motherhood, revealing in an interview with Nylon back in October that that was most likely the logical next step in her life.
"Most people I know are starting to get married," the 29-year-old actress told the magazine. "It'll be kids next. I like the grown-up stuff. I like having a house. I've got dogs."
Congrats to the parents-to-be. Maybe Meester's kid can join up with Blake Lively's new daughter for a "Gossip Girl" reboot down the road?
