Matthew Lewis, the actor behind beloved "Harry Potter" character Neville Longbottom, has made headlines before for how much he's changed since his debut as an awkward preteen in "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone." Now, the British babe is once again making waves with his appearance -- and making author J.K. Rowling uncomfortable in the process.
Lewis is the latest cover star for Attitude magazine, and the actor went all-out for the occasion, showing off an impressive set of abs (and making good on the headline, "From Hogwarts to Hottie"). Things got steamier inside the mag, with a photo of Lewis showing off...well, you can imagine (or check out the pic for yourself here).
But while many fans swooned over the images, there was one person whose reaction wasn't entirely positive. In a post on Twitter, Rowling compared her response to Lewis's racy photoshoot to her shock in seeing "Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe in the buff in the play "Equus." The photos were "Not as bad" as that experience, "but close," Rowling wrote.
.@Mattdavelewis Not as bad as watching Dan in Equus, but close. Warn me next time, for God's sake. https://t.co/r8EUd1GKqT

An embarrassed Lewis replied to Rowling's comment with a hasty apology (and acknowledgement of the awkwardness), though the author took it in stride. "I will always support you whatever you want to do, Matthew," Rowling responded, before cheekily adding, "Now go put some clothes on."
Well, this is awkward. Sorry, Jo... 😔 https://t.co/ASSy3vo4d3

Best "Harry Potter"-themed Twitter interaction ever? We think so. A thousand points to Gryffindor.
