George R.R. Martin isn't the only guy who likes to kill off characters (but, boy does he ever) -- a lot of shows besides "Game of Thrones" bid adieu to popular cast members this year.
You know the death count on "The Walking Dead"" is always going to be high, and being a hunter on "Supernatural"" is a sure guarantee of a short life, but damn, did they have to kill of those characters? And why oh why did McDreamy have to die?
